The agent installed my ram took about 3 mins. Was quick, super easy.

I could have done this myself for my laptop but was more convenient to have the Geek Squad install. However, I had to wait much longer in the service line, which was frustrating because the technician informed he would do right away but did not start until 30 minutes later. Once he got started, they did a good job.

Wouldn't take my set up here again. While they installed my memory they messed up my RGB controller on a cyber power PC which means I couldnt get it replaced cause it's all proprietary parts which sucked. I ended up having to spend more money on getting another case and replaced memory as well. I installed it myself after the disaster the squad did... Won't go back to them for any installs. Smh

the store did not provide an eta and kept my computer from tues am to fri pm for a 15 minute task. I spent hours on the phone with support trying to get an ETA and they couldn't even tell me if the store even had my computer or not.

went in to replace my ram card on laptop on a thursday. They Said I needed to order the part and will be an overnight shipping getting here next day to my home address. I asked them if I should make an appointment again for tomorrow to replace it when it gets here. The worker (looked like a supervisor/manager since he was directing other workers) tells me that I do not need an appointment and to just come in and should be done less than 30 minutes. Shipping gets delayed and doesn’t get here until monday. Went in on Monday and was told that I should have made an appointment or else I’ll have to come back in the next two days to pick it up when it was done. I waited two days before they texted me that it was available to pick up. It was a very stressful time because that was my laptop used for work. Not just that, but the Best Buy was 40 minutes away, so traveling really sucked!

This was the worst experience ever! These people were asked to add 400 g of RAM to my work laptop. I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early and the person who assisted me, tried to convince me that he needed access to everything on my computer in order to install the RAM. The appointment took 1 hour and I had to call my Supervisor to get her to talk to their manager to explain that we only wanted 400 g of RAM installed, per our original phone call. When I picked up the laptop 36 hours later it wouldn't even turn on. It has not worked since I brought it into the GEEK Squad to have additional RAM installed. These people don't know what thy are doing and I feel that a full refund is warranted.

they installed it in like 3 days and it couldve taken my like 10 min at no cost but they charged 35$ and my pc didint even work.

I asked to install 2 memory sticks of faster ram into the laptop and they only installed 1. Plus I had to advise on that also. Not what I was hoping for.

The requested install never happened. I was sent the wrong Memory Card that was selected by the Inline Sales person. He also sold me installation that never happened. I received the incorrect memory in on shipment and the computer in another.

Paid for istall and chips on 19th at 2:00was told would be done next day when in at 3:30 today 20th and install has noteven been looked at was not busy and tech was up front insted of working on products so far am not happy with services

For a Dell laptop device bought from best buy, they charged $100 for OS re-install as it was asking for bitlocker key which was never shared with me. I could have bought and done so myself. Why to take back to best buy.

When the techs put the ram into my computer THAT I JUST PURCHASED I got it back and it took 30 min to open it is now the slowest piece of crap. Almost as fast as a TRS 80

I was going to upgrade my RAM but they were unable to find a RAM that was compatible with my laptop. I was notified of this after I left the store... I don't know why they didn't tell me earlier.

They did the job well; but, I gave it a bad review because I feel that it is unfair that I have to pay $40 for geek squad to install some additional ram in my laptop. When I had purchased the laptop and ram at Best Buy.
