I'll never use Greek Squad

When I went to pick up my laptop they said they broke it. They gave me a new laptop. When I got home and set the new laptop it had 8gb memory which defeated the purpose. So I had to return that laptop and they gave me another that had 12gb and charged me $40. The worse experience for me.

Geek Squad installed Microsoft 365.

Horrible manager

I explained over the phone that I needed to charge it to our corporate card over the phone and they said it was fine so we booked an appointment. However once arriving at the scheduled time they told her they couldn't do that. When I asked why the manager "Evangela" was extremely rude and unprofessional, did not acknowledge that they had not kept their commitment, did not offer any solution, and abruptly stopped talking about the situation when I asked why.

I could have done myself but

However, I had to wait much longer in the service line, which was frustrating because the technician informed he would do right away but did not start until 30 minutes later. Once he got started, they did a good job.

While they installed my memory they messed up my RGB controller on a cyber power PC which means I couldnt get it replaced cause it's all proprietary parts which sucked. I ended up having to spend more money on getting another case and replaced memory as well. I installed it myself after the disaster the squad did... Won't go back to them for any installs. Smh

terrible customer service experience

I spent hours on the phone with support trying to get an ETA and they couldn't even tell me if the store even had my computer or not.

Poor service

They Said I needed to order the part and will be an overnight shipping getting here next day to my home address. I asked them if I should make an appointment again for tomorrow to replace it when it gets here. The worker (looked like a supervisor/manager since he was directing other workers) tells me that I do not need an appointment and to just come in and should be done less than 30 minutes. Shipping gets delayed and doesn’t get here until monday. Went in on Monday and was told that I should have made an appointment or else I’ll have to come back in the next two days to pick it up when it was done. I waited two days before they texted me that it was available to pick up. It was a very stressful time because that was my laptop used for work. Not just that, but the Best Buy was 40 minutes away, so traveling really sucked!

Geek Squad is the worst experience ever!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was the worst experience ever! These people were asked to add 400 g of RAM to my work laptop. I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early and the person who assisted me, tried to convince me that he needed access to everything on my computer in order to install the RAM. The appointment took 1 hour and I had to call my Supervisor to get her to talk to their manager to explain that we only wanted 400 g of RAM installed, per our original phone call. When I picked up the laptop 36 hours later it wouldn't even turn on. It has not worked since I brought it into the GEEK Squad to have additional RAM installed. These people don't know what thy are doing and I feel that a full refund is warranted.

Didnt do what i asked
