It took me listening to this album 2 or 3 times before I got used to her voice singing the Blues but, once I did get used to it, this became one of my favorite Blues albums. Although Cyndi gives a creditable performance on the singing portion of the album, the parts that really knock me out are the instrumentals. Whoever arranged the music on this album did an outstanding job plus Cyndi was smart enough to have some very talented people singing and playing with her on this disc. People like Charlie Musselwhite, Allen Toussaint, B.B. King, Jonny Lang and others. If you give this album enough of a chance for you to get used to her high pitched voice then I think you will really love this album like I do.

i love this CD i would recomend it to anyone and everone! it is so much fun to listen to, and i love Cyndi Lauper. She is a legand! Lisa bouchelle., who is my other favorite artist actually sang back up for cyndi befor!!!!! i would have loved to have been at one of thoose shows!

This is a great cd buy Cyndi, shes got the voice were she can sing anything and ive been waiting for an album like this from her!! got tickets for her concert tour as well!!
