I bought two of these cases and the zipper has broken on them both times so they end up failing to close. I found a great case online that also has a hard shell and fits my Oculus perfectly as well as some accessories and it was slightly less expensive.

The case is a really nice addition for traveling with my Oculus. It’s very lightweight and durable. The only problem I have with it is, it’s confusing placing the controllers.

Have had issues with the zipper falling off track, it corrected itself so far. Protects the headset but is tight fit with a battery extension.

After using this case for not even a day, zipper literally broke and got unattached to the lead. Good conce for the case, would be better if they made a better zipper though.

It is delightfully compact, but after getting the kiwi comfort headstrap for my quest 3 I found out just how fragile the zipper is. It seemed snug, but not too snug. With barely any effort the entire zipper broke off. I had no intention to force this thing shut, but it apparently didn't intend to let anyone try to! Way too expensive to break like that and can only imagine it was a matter of time before that happened with regular use.

The carrying case for the Quest 3 is an essential accessory that you need to own if you want to keep your VR unit in the best condition possible. The case itself is lightweight and has a nice gray design with a hard outer shell that allows solid protection for your Quest and your accessories. There is a strap at the top to carry it if need be and the zipper feels like it’s made of a good material and will hold up well over time. The case is perfectly designed to fit the Quest 3, the VR unit fits snug and doesn’t move around at all once placed inside. The case has two holsters for the controllers that sit straight up but don't impede on the headset sitting in the case. There is also a nifty storage compartment for the charging cable that closes up nicely with all the proper cables inside. I would wholeheartedly recommend this case to anyone because without it how do you plan on storing your Quest? Just keeping it on the shelf in a closet will allow dust to get inside and possible accidents to happen that might ultimately damage the unit. With the case you can store it nice and compact without fear of damage and its perfect if you plan on taking the VR unit to a friends house or traveling with it. In my opinion this case is a no brainer and should be purchased with every Quest.

I really didn't think much of this case when I ordered it, but it turned out to be pretty good! It is a nice size and I can hold both controllers they had said in the strip. It is a pretty decent quality it has a nice feel material around it. I have never tried it but I feel that you can take a real beating, and protect everything inside of the case this fragile. I'm still trying to figure out what position controllers are supposed to be facing when I put everything inside of the case. I also want to see how long is gonna last before you start singing the material peeling from the overall case. The zippers quality made too, and that seems like it's going to outlast t the headset itself. The inside has a hard plastic to set the controls and the headset in before you zip them up. I definitely believe that if you're going to buy this headset, the case is a must have to protect it while transporting it wherever you may go. I believe this could've been included with the headset for the same price, but it definitely is worth getting!

This case is bigger than the quest 2 case. The quest three is a smaller headset, so I was expecting a more compact case.

The zipper derailed after a week. The shell is sturdy, and i liked the storrage compartment, but my issue made it a dusty paperweight.

One of the largest complaints I had with the carrying case for the Quest 2 was that it simply felt thin and flimsy. The Meta Quest 3 carrying case, though sharing a very similar design, is significantly improved. The choice of materials for the outer case feel higher quality, while inside the case has been redesigned with a plastic enclave that snugly hold the new Touch controllers bundled with the Quest 3, and a small compartment for cables or chargers now keep these from bouncing around inside the case and risking damage to the headset lenses. The headset fits perfectly inside the case and doesn’t bounce around, and you don’t need to remove any of the official headstraps to store it or accessories. The outer shell is much thicker and stronger than before, and the zipper is significantly improved so it gets stuck less often and has a much more resilient handle. There are a couple things I would have liked to see. First, there’s some extra space all around when storing the Quest 3 with an attached Quest 3 Elite Strap (sold separately) that I believe could have been used to make the cable and charger compartment larger, for further accessories like knuckle straps or even a tiny bottle of lens cleaner and a microfiber cloth. Second, the zipper location and orientation of the headset in the device make it very difficult to charge the headset inside the case using the Quest 3’s included USB-C cable; it would have been great to have an option that allows the headset to charge inside the case with minimal interference. It’s possible to do so but it creates pressure on the USB-C port, and the zipper still needs to be about a third of the way open. Not quite a dealbreaker but still an annoyance. All told, the Quest 3 Carrying Case is still a slick and svelte way to safely store and transport your Quest 3, but I can’t help but feel the asking price is a bit much for a basic product. A $99 bundle with this and the Elite Strap would be a more compelling option, but if such a combo never materializes, I still recommend the official carrying case if just for the style and protection it offers.
