The Portal Smart Video Calling 10" Display was something I purchased to give as a Christmas gift to my son and his family who reside 3000 miles away from where my wife and I live. I purchased a Logitec C922 PRO Webcam for our use here. I shall have to put the Geek Squad to work helping me to learn how best to use the cam. I plugged it into the USB port on my laptop and it began saving stuff - probably to "The Cloud" which is distressing to me. I do not like the cloud as a place to store things I deem personal.

I purchased the FB Portal as a gift for my out of state family. They love it’s features! The music, speakers, and so much more really make this gift special. Additionally, being able to give commands verbally (“hey portal, call —————“) is awesome. My elderly mother gets a real kick out of this feature. Plus, it’s so much easier than her having to handle the screen. Very pl asked with this purchase. Have since bought one for each of our sons and one of our sons bought one for his son sisters family!

I like the clear picture. Not very much user information came with it though. I wish there was a more thorough guide.
