For conversations, sound quality and the camera function is very good. However, disappointed in 1) you can only connect to face book users, not Amazon show and 2) while Amazon Alexa connection works for the smart home and as an assistant, we disconnected this function because this functionality is weak compared to how well the Amazon devices work. If we had no other Amazon devices to compare to, it may be OK.

It (plus the previous one) works pretty well most of the time though there are times of pixilated picture that are not due to our home internet connection (because I test bandwidth when that happens and it is always more than 100 Mbps.) We quite enjoy the zooming action where the picture will follow a grandchild (that's why we bought it) as he or she moves around. And the the story and filters are fun with grandkids.
