Pretty cool the way the camera zooms in and out and follow the subject around the room. We gifted it to my mom and it's great for her since she often video chats while in the kitchen cooking/baking, now she doesn't have to worry about propping her phone up a certain way

Cuz easy to use hook up the only problem is is you do have to have Facebook and WhatsApp otherwise that loading your regular contacts is near impossible the communication and video is sharp and clear really like it was worth what I paid for it

The Facebook portal is amazing Got it for my sister so we could video chat easier Instead of using her computer webcam and my iPad We were using it and the portal zoomed in and out on them Moved left and right on them Very happy with it

I bought this so my parents could get more easily connected to us, but it requires some work from me to get it to work as they don't have any Internet presence. I will know more if it works after the new year's ...

We bought this to stay in touch with family and friends around the world. It really does work well once you get the hang of it. The support manual is all online and we found it not as helpful as we would have liked. But trial and error found a way. Just wish it were more intuitive...especially for folks our age (grandparents in their 70s).

Use this more than I though I would. I use this for meetings, Zoom calls, and so the entire family can video chat with my daughter who is away at college. Great item.

First impression of the box, the new version of the portal is very well built. It is sturdy and has an expensive feel to it. The device itself is sleek and the trim feels modern.

Upgraded my parents Portal as they had the previous generation and the volume button was broken. Great upgrade! They seemed to fix issues from the previous model and this one is working great!

Bought this for my mom. Love the fact that it can be used as a digital picture frame as well which is one of the main reasons I bought it. The video calling was a bonus. The smart camera feature that follows you around the room is pretty cool too so you can just set the portal down and now worry about being in the frame

I use this with my Alexa app and it works great it will take voice commands to do just about anything including turn off screen volume up and down turn off and play this or that

I bought this for my parents who have zero technical skills with electronics. We set up their facebook account, made their contacts, and now all they need to do is touch the name or say hey portal to connect with the person they want to SEE! They love it.

This thing is awesome......look at it as a long distance family connection.. if you desire more it as some basic features that a tablet could provide...but in our home it’s a great portrait and music player that has the abilty to communicate with family.

works well. we bought one for us and one for my mother-in-law so she could see us, her grandkids and her great- grandkids during quarantine. it really out a smile on her face and she said it was like we were all having dinner together

Purchased this so my mother could not only speak with but also video chat with grandkids and great grands who live all over the country. She is amazed not only with the video chat function but the constant streaming of pictures from family on Facebook.

Definitely worth of 35$ Very comfortable to make whatsapp and messenger calls. Like the audio. Doing its job as digital photo frame. Facebook watch not working. Even i am attending Microsoft teams meetings and zoom meetings.

I was hesitant at first about getting this portal. It really makes using Facebook and WhatsApp and other apps a lot more of a fresh experience. I purchased 2 while on sale. A black and white frame.

Great idea and I gave it to my 93 year old father to provide him an option for video calling with his children, grand children and great grand children. Slow going but we're getting there - I'm sure he'll love it once he gets more comfortable with it.

We love staying connected with the portal. we received it fairly quickly and with no issues. it was over the holidays but it still arrived in a timely manner. thank you best buy for staying on point with your holiday deliveries

I bought one for my wife and her Mom so that they could video-chat given they live about 100 miles apart. Seems to work as advertised. I have not used it much but it works fine. Just have to figure out how to keep it from eliminating the audio from the nearby Amazon Echo Plus which is about 20 feet away.
