The Facebook Portal worked great! My mom is unable to move from bed and this made it possible to video call and have the Facebook pictures appear as a photo album. I also set up the Pandora and Spotify for her to call portal and have it play the songs she likes. The best part it doesn’t need a phone link like the Lenovo Google. All it needs is a Facebook account to be able to make calls

Camera, great! Easy to set up. So far my only issue is that I cannot get a what’s app call to answer.

Product is great for video chatting with people that have other Portals or facebook messenger. It does NOT work with Messenger Kids, just FYI. the video quality is AMAZING from Portal to Portal. Much better than any other video chat system on the market. Works with Whatsapp also, and kids love using the built-in avatars and face changers, story time and alexa controls.

really functional as a "FaceTime" device but limited somewhat in the people you can reach to Facebook contacts....or if it is more I can't figure out how to get there.... good sound and video quality...sorta tender in the fall and break category.... voice command "call XXx" is great for older non tech folks.

The video quality is very good. Hook up was easy. We had to use customer service and they were excellent! The only thing I don’t like is that it has to be plugged in to be turned on. That makes it difficult to be used as “portable”. Wish I would have known this before purchase. We did end up buying a portable plug so it can be moved around. This is for a great grandma who is 82 to video all her grand and great grandbabies. It’s been wonderful!

It doesn’t do everything other smart devices can, but you buy this because it’s the best for video calling and has Alexa built in. There isn’t a better device (any portal) to call your family, especially if you have kids. The photo booth and book feature my 2-3 year old was obsessed with, and ui simple enough she learned to call her grandma by herself.

Got the Portal to communicate with my parents during quarantine and it's fantastic. Setup was very easy. The clarity for both audio and video is what sold me - so much better than FaceTime. Also, the apps are fun for the kids. Finally, I loaded theirs up with 350 family photos so they have a digital photo frame when they're not using it to chat.

I bought this for mothers day as my mom is constantly on messenger carrying her phone around. We immediately fell in love with it. The camera follows you around, is able to zoom in on you AND your voice for mic pickup, and the picture quality is gorgeous. Very convenient. Alexa is an added bonus on top and we can use it to control our TV.

Fantastic device for video chat and for listening to music.

I use this portal to speak with my kids and grandkids and weekly to speak to others in the Philippines. The camera is the best. Everyone is amazed when it zooms in and out. The sound quality is better than using my computer by far! I also love that once it is set up I can unplug and move to another room and just plug it in and call. Enjoying immensely.

This was a gift for my 75-year-old mother-in-law and she loves it! She installed it herself which was amazing because she is not tech savvy at all. The picture and audio quality is great and it works extremely well, in fact a little too well as she is video calling us several times a day. We bought another one for our other mother-in-law.

It’s a unique device for rooms like your kitchen or family type of from. You have access to apps or websites you will normally have on a computer. I got it at a deal of the day price so it was well worth it due to the amazing price.

Had a few crashing/freezing issues at first but those seem to have resolved themselves. Purchased this for my mother-in-law who is now in a nursing home. She loves the pictures scrolling all day and I love being able to quickly add and delete pictures for her from anywhere. She has a bit of difficulty remembering how to issue commands but that's not the fault of the Portal.

We bought this as a gift for my elderly parent. She loves oldies music and looking at pictures of her family. Her face lights up when she is able to as Alexa to play Tom Jones or Boleros and reminisce of her days dancing. Love it! Hands down best gift ever! Added plus she is able to see pictures we post while traveling!

Very easy to use, great camera. Easy to buy online.

We used this fir Christmas with the camera at the remote site where my grandchildren were. They acted like we were actually there and we could interact with them in real time also. It was almost like being there. Much better than zoom where everyone has to sit in front of the camera and not move.

My mom is in a nursing home and the portal makes her feel connected to family and friends during the pandemic when we’re all unable to visit. The sound and picture are great, it streams her favorite pics when idle and it works with a simple command. She said it’s the best gift she has ever received.

Purchased three. One for is and one for each of our children so we can stay in touch. Am able to work in the kitchen while video chatting. Camera follows me while I walk around the room. I listen to Pandora when cooking and my daughter uploaded her own photos on hers. She stated she could only do 50 but it was a nice feature. Still learning about the other features that come with it.
