There are more options on Portal for a deep experience than most people realize! The wife view camera is the best feature — zooming in when you move around keeping everyone in the frame — hands free. Love this product — want to get Portal TV next

I honestly think this is a bit overpriced for what it does. The app selection on this device is horrible as you are only limited to a few applications. It has a decent speaker though.

I bought this portal for my daughter, so I can read stories to my granddaughter, and talk with my daughter and family, and it worked great, when we had Covid-19, so we can keep in touch with my daughter, granddaughter and son in law.

I LOVE my portal device. I was actually just looking to purchase a digital picture frame but this option was the same price for a device that does much more than just display my photos. Very happy with my purchase.

This was a Christmas present for my 71 year old mother. My mother has I problems, so it's hard for her to do video ChatOn her cellphone. So this makes it so easy for her to stay in touch, view pictures, and received recipes

I'm away from home several days a week and these are absolutely wonderful to be able to just leave connected. Almost like being in the same room as my family while I'm away.

If your primary video calling is one of WhatsApp or Messenger, just get this blindly if you see any sale on it. The newer version is way better but way pricier. I got this about a month ago and I am happy to say that I am satisfies with the product. Built in Alexa comes in handy and the software is kind of slow but it never got stuck during a whatsapp video call. Remember, you are paying that extra money for WhatsApp video calls on a 10 inch screen. I would definitely like to see apps like Netflix or prime video in here and I really hope they come soon. Apart from that, overall a great device if you ise Meta apps

This was a gift for my mother to keep in touch with grandkids during the quarantine. Just recommend reading the fine print during set up and use your facebook user name/pw and not the code to enter on another device. Great picture quality.

This Portal is great for video calling. Easy to set-up, much more user friendly than trying to use your phone or laptop camera. Best device for communicating with others out of the country.

I enjoy talking to my friends with my portal. I don't have to hold the phone and it follows me around the room. I turn off the camera when I'm done for privacy. I connected it to Alexa and use it like an Echo dot as well

This is a great way for the kids to keep in touch with their grandparents. It has different options to play games and read books. My family lives to use it. The downside is that they must have messenger or WhatsApp to use the portal. We also love using the portal as a radio. It’s a lot of fun!

Bought 2 of these, one for my family and one for my mom. We just wanted a super convenient way to call and video chat since we don’t see each other too often. I know we can just do that with our phones, BUT it’s kinda nice with it sitting in my kitchen as a constant reminder to call my mom, and be able to easily have conversations while I make some food or grab a drink. Anyways, it surpassed my expectations because there were many cool features like playing music, displaying your photos, and the kids’ favorite was the interactive effects and the interactive story telling. I also really like that you can protect your privacy with a way to turn off the mic and cover the camera. Glad I bought it. I highly recommend.

Got the Portal to give to the kids and grandkids for Christmas and was able to interact with them inspite of Covid. Terrific service as I needed to incorporate customer service in the transaction. Thank you Best Buy

Love the Portal. It is very easy to use. My mom who is eighty six can visit with her family anytime she wants. Her grandchildren are so happy to see her and my dad, it’s like being in the same room with them. I highly recommend this!

Bought 2 portals. One for my wife and one for our daughter living out of state. They love them as they communicate every night while cooking dinner. Very easy to setup and the camera following feature works great.

Bought this for my mom & dad who are in their 80s. They don’t have smart phones so this allows the whole family to see and speak with them. Great during the pandemic “in-shelter” environment. Allows us all to stay connected.

We bought this for our parents because they are getting older and cannot go and visit as they did before. Now they can visit any time they want, without leaving the comforts of their living room. They love it!

Love, love, love this. I got it for my grandma who at time has difficulties using technology, and the ease of use on whatsup to call our family members and communicate with her has been life changing.

It serves its purpose. I wish there were other things it could be used for. You can only use it with others that have a portal as well. All in all, it’s a very good device for video time without having to hold a device in your hand. It has a very nice clear picture.

I love the feature of the portal... the camera follows you. The sound is clear and loud. You can stream videos on it. It is a great addition to my house
