I bought this for my elderly mother. This pandemic was causing all of us depression not seeing friends and family. Now she has the freedom to call and talk live to all of her friends and family. We loved that she could be part of our son's wedding, we live streamed it for her. Made her feel she was part of the celebration. Would recommend, very easy to use if you have a facebook account.

This is okay. I purchased to enable parents to see video from their ring doorbell while also using as a digital photo frame. Unfortunately the ring doorbell does not send automatic notifications to the portal like it does a typical alexa. some of the other features also seem not fully developed yet like uploading photos onto the device to be seen. Overall, the device is slow and laggy. I do like the incorporation into Facebook and the ability to video call via messenger.

I bought this as a gift ,and it's been a game changer my girlfriends mother is in a health care facility and because of Covis-19 she could no longer visit her .With a little patience and time that changed this Portal has now given her a way to see and talk to her everyday,it is absolutely amazing,and has given her a little comfort in a time when every little bit helps ,thanks guys the Portal is great

My mom was in the hospital, no visitors allowed. Her sister does not have a smart phone or tablet. My aunt is 80 years old and has dementia so technology is especially difficult for her. When I set up the portal, she could just press mom's picture and call her. I would highly recommend for any senior. I had to create an email for her as well as a Facebook account, but it was worth it.

Good Option if you are friends and family staying away.

Very easy to use, my MIL got everyone a Portal as a way for everyone to easily keep in touch (we’re all over the country)....and it’s great. Even the little ones have figured out how to call their uncles or grandparents on their own (it’s set up with just us as contacts to call). I don’t love that I need a FB profile to use it, but it definitely works as advertised!

I used this to link my 97 year old mothers Facebook account to the family across the USA. In a mater of a few minute it is all ready and any family member with Facebook messenger can call mom and connect. Now only if I could get the portal to auto answer for times when mom's dementia prevents her from understanding how to press the answer button :-) minor short coming for a great product..

love the device good quality picture frame and options to call without using a cell or laptop frees up device use it as a secondary device and a secondary display. device follows your face when talking good sound quality works with another portal or can use it to call a phone. use it as a smart device to control other device thru alexa and voice commands.

Bought this device for my in-laws for Christmas. It was very simple to set-up with her facebook account. It is easy to use for them to video chat with us whenever they want. The picture quality is excellent and the ability to display pictures from facebook, instagram, or directly from the app is also very handy.
