Huge, epic, just buy it now, you're welcome.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is so massive you will probably spend at least 100 hours or more before you complete the main story, there are so many things to do it is almost overwhelming at first but you quickly settle in and begin to get comfortable with everything, especially if you've played any of the previous Metal Gear games, but this one is different you actually have the freedom to play through the game however you like and not be stuck on a set path like some of the other games in this genre, the bottom line is if you want an incredible game to keep you happy and busy for a lengthy amount of time pick this up asap!

A nicely made throwback for MGS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Forget the game, lets talk about the soundtrack! haha, kidding. It is a pretty good soundtrack, though. The game itself is pretty wicked and the graphics are out of this world. The story line is solid and you will find yourself playing for hours.

Takes some getting used to
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have not played any past MGS games, so I was a bit behind in that regard. Pros: Awesome graphics, good story, fun gameplay Cons: Tons of "credits" so you WILL know who made the game, takes some getting used to the style of game and the gameplay, can be frustrating if you make one wrong choice after hours of play

Controversial game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this game but there's a lot of caveats to talk about. -If you're a long time MGS fan, this game might disappoint you. It has the least amount of story focus and cutscenes of all the main games. You could even make the argument that the 2nd half of the game is unfinished. -However the gameplay is awesome. There are so many options at your disposal (for both stealth and action), and there are countless little details that give this game personality. For example try slapping a poster on your cardboard box and test it on a guard. Or take a sleeping enemy's gun and wait for him to wake up. -I was not a fan of the mother base system. In theory it's a great idea but it wasn't executed well. The base is massive but there's barely anything to do on it except hunting for diamonds. You can gather wild animals to store but again it seems to serve no practical purpose and is just for looks. Despite the mother base and story issues I still enjoyed it. It's a really fun stealth sandbox game and the gameplay is enough for me to keep coming back just to test certain things out.

Almost the best in the series
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. How they managed to make a confined stealth action game go open world so flawlessly is beyond belief for me, but they've done it. If you liked peace walker, you're going to absolutely love this game. But, while the game does so many things right, they're are some that kind of miss the mark that made the series great in the first place. Story and cutscenes are pretty much non existent compared to earlier entries and a huge emphasis is played on mother base development and management which can definitely turn some people off. If you're willing to look past those points though, you'll have a good time.

Excellent title, one of the best of the year.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been waiting for this title for countless years, and the game itself is wonderful. The single player is a lot of fun and well worth it if you are a fan of action shooters. Metal Gear fans will likely find issue with the story, as the game itself was rushed in that department. The online component seems lacking as well, so it may be hard to find games in the near future if it is not improved on in the future to keep the community. However, even that said, this is a definite must play, the gameplay is fun and fluid, and there is a lot to do throughout the different missions and environments.

Hideo's best entry to the franchise
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There's so many great things about the game. The guns, and diversity of such. The diversity of approaching missions differently helps to vastly increase the replay value. Being able to choose Lethal or Non-Lethal really adds more depth and really makes you feel like you're really taking on the role of Big Boss. The development system is really cool and the addition of Buddies makes it again ever more diverse. From having more mobility to having advanced scouting or situational awareness really goes a long ways.to giving you options. This is by far one of the best games of the year.

amazing
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't even put into words how great this game is. A fitting finale for an amazing series. If you are a fan of the MGS series, you MUST PLAY THIS. Open world is amazing, multiplayer is fun, the story is jaw-dropping, the weapon & tech development is great. The only negative thing I have to say about this game is how Konami treated Kojima during development of the title. :(

The best Metal Gear game yet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Though sorely lacking in David Hayter, this is the best Metal Gear game in the series and a great way to end it. Beautiful graphics and a fun open world.

Great Game!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is superb. Not many games now a days truly live up to the cost. This game comes with several game modes, each with almost limitless possibilities. The campaign is detailed, and allows the player to take several different angles when completing missions. You can extract prisoners, you can go full stealth, or you can go in guns blazing! There are several other modes as well. I have played all MGS games and this one is truly remarkable. Even if you haven't played the story from the beginning, there is enough going on to get some real enjoyment out of this game.

Fitting end to MGS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Give this game time. In the beginning it starts of strong, but slow with a very long, but AWESOME intro. After that the world opens up, but it takes a lot of a time. After a good 10 hours the game opens up to a lot and the amount of freedom here is remarkable. WARNING: For those of you who are expecting a traditional MGS game filled with hours upon hours of cut-scenes you will be disappointed. The intro is basically one long cut-scene + training, but that's about it. The bulk of you story you make up on your own. How you solve each mission is up to you. Enjoy!
