This game has a lot of potential but just falls short. Graphics are amazing and game play isn't too bad. But the story is moved along mainly by listening to tapes, and many missions in the second act are just repeats of earlier missions. I found the game increasingly tedious towards the end, losing interest and finding unlocking missions a daunting task. Does not live up to the hype or previous Metal Gear Solid games.

This game is so epic an instant classic in the metal gear solid franchise.

I bought this game as a gift for my brother and I must say he throughly enjoyed it and I even enjoyed watching it being played. The cut scenes are super cinematic and the looked more like a movie. It looked like it was fairly similar to the latest batch of metal gear games, but definitely a worth while addition to a collection... If you don't mind the 60 dollar price tag.
