If you are considering purchasing this because you liked previous Borderlands games, then you shouldn't hesitate on this one. It is better than Borderlands 2 because they do try to introduce some new concepts and a good majority of the enemies are "new" in the sense that the appearance is different and attack in new ways. I won't throw any spoilers here, but if you like any of the previous Borderlands, chances are you'll like this one too since as the title suggests, it gives a lot of backstory the whole BL universe.

This game is so awesome. The graphics are the best I've seen on any ps4 games, and the story is really gripping. Didn't do much online play, but there' s so much great story content.

ive played all metal gear solid games, and with the new console the graphics keep getting better and the story is always intriguing. I really enjoyed it. would recommend to a friend but would tell them to play the other games first. snakes voice over character just doesn't do it for me on this one but its still good.

Game is beautiful, has great story and the way they present it is amazing. Better on PS4 compared to Xbox in my opinion. Any fan of the series should definitely pick this up.

Gameplay wise, it's great. Unfortunately the story doesn't live up to metal gear games of the past. MGO is very fun though.

Metal gear is back.. I like this one because it has a splinter cell vibe to it. You can knock out enemies or take them out.

Put about 6 hours of gameplay in so far. As satisfying as it is to shoot people in the face or knock them out and fire them into outer space. The game has fun progression and unlocking items in sequence is rewarding. Story is on par with the metal gear franchise, immersive and complicated but intriguing.

If you've played Peace Walker, Ground Zeroes and Snake Eater, you'll be right at home with Phantom Pain. For those initiated, I'm unsure what you'll make of the game, but I imagine once you get used to it you'll enjoy its unique brand of gaming. Though it's probably not for everyone.

Probably one of the best games I’ve played on the ps4. If I had to rate it out of a ten I’d give it a 9.5!

If your a fan of previous MGS games you will be disappointed at its lack of a decent narrative but what it lacks in story it gains in gameplay. You get to build your own mother base and explore huge open world environments and tackle objectives in any style you want guns blazing or all sneaky sneaky like.

Phenomenal open world map. Looks about as good as being outside. Great gameplay. If you love the series it's great, if you've never played Metal Gear, it's still great.

This is definitely not just the best game in the MGS saga, but one of the best action games ever created, period. It's a sublime masterpiece that should be taken as a reference of how games can evolve without hurting its core feeling. Props to Hideo Kojima and his awesome team!

Only a few hours in, but you can see quality. Gameplay is unique and Snake is a bad man. Not 5 stars, but a great game.

Hideo Kojima is a true master of his craft. This game is amazing. In fact, calling it a game is an understatement. It's a truly incredible means of interactive entertainment. Konami may be evil, but don't let that stop you from enjoying this man and his team's hard work.

Took me a few sittings to get past the intro level, but once I did the game opened up and really liked the story.

Great story and graphics. Still haven't finished the game due to school but im hooked. Multiplayer is a ton of fun. Got the game on sale and totally worth it.

It's really kind of like an upgraded version of Far Cry 4. Worth playing, but I don't think it lives up the hype.

Endless fun in an open world is offered by MGSV, replay missions and attempt a stealthly or action oriented run.
