The open world is a little barren. Some missions are repeated over and over again. But the gameplay and some compelling characters keep you coming back for more. There is a good story here but it's just not told very well. Not as great as the MGS3 or MGS1 but defintly better than MGS2

Only downside to this game is how much time you'll sink into it without realizing how much has passed.

One of the best Metal Gear game I've played, definitely recommend anyone to try it out.

This game is a lot of fun and reminds me of several of my favorite MGS games earlier in the series.

This was a Christmas gift for a friend who just got playstation 4 , so I know he will enjoy the game

I was hesitant to buy this game... that is why I waited until it was a year old and very reasonably priced.. it is simply awesome! The stealth and gunplay are amazing. Not like any MGS game before except ground zeros (which I had to go back and play once I started this)! Get it!

customizable cardboard boxes for the win. The gameplay was a little sketchy to get use to at first, but after a couple of times playing it became more user friendly. I do believe the missions were a little weird.

Just started playing but loving it so far I have been playing metal gear since original Playstation
