If this were any other game -

Sadly, it's Metal Gear and there is a certain level of gameplay you expect from the series. This isn't to say the gameplay on hand is "bad". . .it just doesn't feel like Metal Gear. It's open world, but barren at the same time. Outposts dot the land, but they are inconsequential. Main bases/locations are large, but don't give that feel that Ground Zeroes gave. All in all if this is Kojima's swan song. . .it's a slightly off tune one.
