This is different but still pretty fun to play. Overall I enjoy it.

This game has it all I would expect nothing less from its creator. As Hideo has proven time and time again why he keeps his MetalGear fan base!

The plot may require an explanation online, like the first time I watched 2001 A Space Odyssey, but this game is amazing in every other respect!

Amazing gameplay, mediocre multiplayer, and obviously incomplete campaign. If only Konami gave Kojima another year to finish it.

I won't spoil anything, but this is one of the best metal gears. If you like any of them, get this.

You can beat mission any way you want. Guns blazing, sneaking stealthily, or however you see fit. You really make your own experience and story.

Exciting concept different from all other metal gears. A ghost from the past living in the future

Having played Metal Gear games since the NES original, I had grown tired of the over the top and convoluted story arcs of recent games. This harkens back to the old days when story takes a back seat to gameplay. The game is fun to play, and what more do you want from a game?

Hideo Kojima is a genius, wonderful game, the graphics motor is really impressive, the weapons are amazing you the history is different.

It's a rarity that a game gets better and better over the years. Metal Gear Solid has done it.

finally i had a long time waiting for a sale to get this game it is pretty cool but as everybody knows the end is not what we had wanted

This third person shooter game had an excellent story line and was really a culmination of all the prior metal gear games out there.

Things get a little stale for me after a little bit, but I'm more of a arcade kind of guy :)

The overall game is a well put-together game. The mechanics are very well done. When I chose to play the game in small chunks, the game was very satisfying. Marathon-ing it is a bad idea because you'd quickly get bored of it. Take breaks if you want the most out of it. Regardless of the spoilers that are everywhere on the internet already.

Haven't played MGS since the ps2 days. I forgot how challenging and tough this game can be.

I bought this game for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. Great game. Great price.

Haven't played this yet but I got such a great deal that it doesn't really matter. If this is half as good as MGS4, I'll be happy.
