Great game! It’s like most jrpgs it’s going to be a long playthrough but the story and gameplay are worth it! Atlus does it again! It was shipped fast and I didn’t have to pay any shipping costs! Glad to see physical media hanging in there!

Metaphor: ReFantazio is everything I hoped for and more. The art style is stunning, the soundtrack is incredible, and the mix of turn-based and real-time combat keeps battles exciting. The story and characters pull you in right from the start, and it feels polished in every detail. If you enjoy JRPGs, this is a must-have for PS5!

Great story, world and characters. It has a great UI and fighting system also. Taking the persona system to medieval future was a perfect fit. The only issue comes in the form of the presentation. Not sure what happened graphically while it doesn’t running the game it just seems like a missed opportunity. 8/10

Still playing through and enjoying every second of it. Probably the biggest surprise of 2024, did not expect this game to be such a huge win for Persona fans!

This game is life changing! Quite possibly the most amazing game ever made. This game is as hot as the sun and will burn itself into your psyche like a puppy wagging his tail you won't be able to put this game down like it's cold drink in "H E double hockey sticks" this game plays so smooth it's as smooth as silk and as cool as the other side of the pillow. This game makes other games look like monkeys made them in a room with no windows and lights. You play this game if you are as American as apple pie only this game wasn't made in America, so yeah deal with that like you would deal with the elephant in the room. When you play this game you will be riveted the screen like one of those 80's Garfield window hangers. Look just buy the game or you'll look like a lame gamer who doesn't play big boy or girl games.

Everything about this game is utterly amazing. The soundtrack is great and I love listening to it, and the combat is full of strategic depth as pretty much every character can use every Archetype. The story is also gripping, though I am only 30 hours in so I dont know how it ends.
If you like persona you'll love metaphor by Atlus.

If you're a persona fan, you're going to love this one! It's its own standalone fantasy RPG and personally I feel it's amazing the artwork, the music, the whole feel of the game is pretty amazing I highly recommend it

It’s a fun RPG with a lot of customization options, similar to Shin Megami Tensei and Persona games. I enjoyed the music a lot. The story was good too.

Maybe 15 hours in and everything is fantastic. Story is interesting with a lot to dig into, soundtrack is excellent, and the game looks great.
If you're a fan of Atlas games you won't find a lot that surprises but if you haven't played their games before then this is a cool starting off point.

Is this game perfect? No, it does feel a bit rushed sometimes in some resolutions. Have I finished it? Not yet, but im enjoying myself.
I touched base with Persona 5 a while back, but I'm considering this my first real Atlus game. It isnt hard to get used to the pass system and paying attention to weaknessess. I love the Archetypes. Being able to set up a party with exactly what you need feels satisfying.
And Hulkenberg. And Basilio. They're my favorites. And of course the MC is just a little babby.

The game is a lot more than just fantasy Persona, and there’s a lot here to love whether you’re an SMT/Persona fan or total newcomer. The gameplay is deeply strategic and satisfying, the characters and world building are intriguing, and per Atlus’s usual level of excellence, the audio/visual presentation is off the charts. Is it perfect? No. But does it deserve the praise it’s garnered from fans and critics alike? Yes.

Long time Atlus fan. I've played the shin megami tensei games as well as the persona games. I wasnt sure what to expect from this game, but the archetypes are a cool concept that allow for a great combat customization. The art is fantastic and the story is intriguing. I found myself growing attached to the characters and their stories. The voice acting is great, but I'd wish it was fully voiced. Would definitely recommend.
