The price was $13, it was necessary to adapt the factory power antenna lead to the new Kenwood head unit, it was in stock, and fit without modification. Specifically, the short 7" length, and 90 degree angle plug take little room in a cramped space like I have in my 1992 Corvette. The factory Bose system was too expensive to repair, and I was concerned about retrofitting this complex system which was divided into multiple components. Best Buy knew what was needed and how to connect them. This cable was the last piece required, fits great, restores strong signal for HD radio, and appears it will outlast the vehicle.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a little apprehensive about this item working any better than my original antenna cableon my aftermarket head unit in my malibu, but after using each one, the adaptor actually made the radio come in much better. More stations were found and sound clarity was better than when i had my stock receiver!
