It's an antenna to boost the signal of a GPS. I have had no issues with it. PERFECT!

I needed a new antenna for my new car stereo. Apparently the one that was in my car would not work. However, this new antenna, which was recommended by the Geek squad installer, does not work well at all. The reception to many radio stations go in and out. In fact, the search mode on the stereo can only lock in one FM station, which plays classical music. I am going to see if Best Buy can take out this antenna and give me one that pulls in radio signals in my city as I drive.

Did not need but came with the adaptor kit - saved it for future use.

I needed this extender to hook my new stereo antenna to the stereo.

This adapter is what came up under a search at the store for my 1999 BMW 528i, however this is not the correct cable. I believe this cable is only used if you're using the stock amplifier (which I am not) however it doesn't state this anywhere in the description. I read some other reviews of people having issues with the reception after installing this and I believe they were sold the wrong cable as I was. The correct cable when using aftermarket stuff is the Metra 40-VW10.

Best Buy of Pueblo took excellent care of me as a customer. However, the product worked for a few days then drained my car battery of all it's power and shut down the electrical components of the steering wheel. Was not able to control the heater at all. This was a big problem since it was Winter time. I will not purchase this product again.

Ordered, but never arrived. When we took the jeep to the Geek Squad, we were grateful they had one at the store.
