It does have a bit of an inset so if your new stereo has knobs or buttons on the edges makes it a bit hard to get to. Needs to have less of an inset

When installing the new radio with this installation kit there was a sizing problem. This was the kit for the year and model of the car. I looked up step by step videos just to be sure it was being done correctly. However, when it says you must cut to make the hole larger to fit it in there was not very accurate. Trim maybe but definitely not cut. Seemed to have changed the style of the installation kits. There have been kits I have used previously worked great with no problems.

This kit was so simple and well engineered that it took longer to get it out of the package than it took to install the deck. Definite must have for any stereo install of Double DIN deck.

Mounting kit was not a perfect fit. Needed to file parts to make perfect. Once it's snapped in place it's very difficult to remove so run all future wires and cables the first time installing.

Good kit for a professional looking double DIN install. The only gripe I have is that the small gap filler bar did not quite fit on my install. Luckily it looks fine without it.

Installation associate let me know every part I needed for new radio purchased for my van. glad I was told before taking old radio out!

The kit works but some modification to the dash is required to install radio. Additionally, it is a pain to pull the dash after the radio has been installed.

This was purchased for a radio install and it did the job. The price wasnt bad.

Best Buy installed this with my sons JVC . It worked pretty good but there is a little gap on the bottom in his Ford Ranger . But it’s acceptable.

A little more grinding then what I read in the instructions, but if Ford just used a normal din radio you wouldn't have this problem.

Product performed as expected. Covered the side openings nicely. I wound up not needing the bottom filler piece.

The automobile head unit I had installed by geek squad needed an adapter kit. This kit was used and it works flawlessly.
