Was excited to get a updated radio in my honda civic, I did the install myself and everything was great. However once we had a few hot Arizona summer temps hit the valley the whole unit warped pretty bad. Im going to try and include some pictures. Its one of those things you dont think about until you notice how hard it is to use the knobs and buttons. Like a few other reviews on here the defrost button does stick and my only solution is to grab the dash kit and shake it up and down in hopes it will unstick. Metra usually makes quality products so im at a loss for what happened here. Overall if you just want a kit and this comes free, id do it because free but i would not pay more than 10$ for it. (The sony head unit also didnt fit and required dremel work to fit) This kits been installed since 9/30/2021

I love the fact that the clunky volume buttons are gone and now I have an in-dash display. I read some reviews saying the product didn’t fit right, and figured if I let geek squad install it that it wouldn’t be a problem. I was definitely wrong. It doesn’t clip in on the bottom, and my rear defroster button gets stuck every time I press it because it doesn’t fit in the molding properly. Poor design. But overall cool idea and product

Purchased for my Son's 2008 Civic Si. Excellent color match, perfect fit, brackets, screws, and a cover for the air bag indicator if needed. Clear instructions provided. Always great experience with Metra products, and Best Buy had the best price and had the product available immediately.

First and foremost. This kit went above and beyond what I expected. I figured i would have to fabricate my own mount for the deck. Ultimately i just wanted the dash piece this had since I went from a non nav unit (premium sound) and put in a touchscreen mac head unit. Not sure exactly what others had issues with. My Pioneer whatever model it is (newest model for 2019) fits the head unit perfectly fine. I believe the screen size is 6.2 but the headunit it is bigger. I would recommend this product. Oh and the retaining clips it cones with are so handy and thankful it came with them. And instructions are easy to follow and straightforward.

This dash panel allowed me to modernize my 2011 Honda Civic to a newer radio and back-up camera, and more. Good fit, not great, but very acceceptable for a car 13 years old. Price and arrival time were more than fair, and if I ever need a like product in the future, Best Buy will be my first choice.

I bought the Metra kit for a double din install on my son's 2006 Civic SI. The kit installed easily and colors) textures we're a perfect match to the dash.

Color match exactly as my interior, easy to install. Just sticks out on the passenger side a little bit but cant complain.

Looks great. Allows the deck to sit up. The civic has a curved dash. It’s hard to see the stereo. This helps you to see it.

Metra makes many kits. Most are of high quality however most of the new kits are not as nice as the older kits available 20 + years ago.

I purchased the sony receiver for my Honda Civic and these items (metra dash kit, harness wire) needed to install them on my car. Best buy price matched with amazon on the price of the harness wire. Technicians were helpful in explaining the parts and also recommended the parts that needs to be used...helped me with pros and cons of those parts... This part fit perfectly and they look good on my car..

So far so good. Looks nice and works great, sun does not give a glare like some dash kits. Color does not blend in the best but I’m sure it’s as good as it gets without braking the bank.

This dash kit fits like a glove and looks great in my 2006 Honda Civic LX.
