    Paid Best Buy to install this, so I really don't know details. It wasn't until writing this review that I realized it's aftermarket

    It is a hidden adapter. The installer used it because he had to. I really don't know how to review an adapter, but Best Buy offered the opportunity. So I'll say it's a fine little adapter.

    The first installation of the stereo unit was wired incorrectly so my car blinkers did not work. I brought it back and that was corrected. Now the clock resets itself to the wrong time repeatedly. Is it the harness adapter- I really do not know.

    We had best buy install our new stereo. They were great in making sure we had all the needed parts. This works just as it is supposed to and our stereo sounds perfect
