boring n uninspired
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Played first half hour and kept waiting for it to get interesting.... Characters are weak, fake Russian accents are hard to understand without subtitle, graphics poor. Maybe the second game is better since newer but may never find out because not interested. Shame.

Two games for the price of one!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game starts off really slow and continues to be slow for a while. The pace does pick up a little bit, but the action is not enough to keep me excited.

This game sucks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It doesn't look that good and the controls are pretty bad. There are also a bunch of loading screens that last forever.

Excellent Post-Apocalyptic Shooter
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Metro Redux is nothing short of spectacular. The game itself is actually two previous gen titles' that have been remastered for the Xbox one and PS4. The game is set in a series of abandoned metro tunnels in a post - apocalyptic Moscow. The game itself features customization in terms of weaponry and distinct, but albeit obvious moral choices. In this game you will encounter several factions that take form from WW2 era historical events. The game play is balanced but at times difficult, that is depending on which setting you play on. (Survivor VS. Spartan). The game also draws from horror, and spiritual elements. As well as political correctness, aspects of survival, and many other themes. On a side note I would not recommend this game for children due to both the graphic nature of the game, as well as there being nudity. But for those who do bring themselves to engage in the story of the metro. Look forward to the story of a lifetime.

Two Great Stealth/FPS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for a first-person shooter with stealth, great horro style atmosphere, ghastly enemies and great gunplay, then look no further. You get two! The stories are great as well.

One of the worst games I've ever played.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ok, so the story seems intriguing to start with but the pictures and description of the game are not what you end up doing. Yes, you can run around and talk to everyone and you even have to talk to lots of people to unlock the next step in the mission. However, there is no map. There is no mission tracker to tell you which way to go. There is no hints displayed to tell you that you'll need gas mask air filters to get through the next mission, etc... You will spend HOURS simply trying to find out where to go. Then, when you finally find it... you wont have the proper gear. Where can you get the proper gear? From the mission you completed eight hours ago. That's the ONLY place you can obtain what you need to complete the current mission. The graphics are excellent and the story line is compelling but the execution is terrible. This game is awful and a tremendous waste of time. You'll have to replay missions over and over and over just to find the correct path or the material you need for future missions. Don't waste you time with this one.

Metro Redux is an incredible game bundle value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Survival Horror games are alive and well with the Metro series and Redux's remastering of Metro 2033 and Last Light for the PS4 is a must buy for any fans of tense action and amazing atmosphere. The unique sitting is a wonderfully chilling thrill that you have to experience for yourself. To top it all off it's also incredibly gorgeous all the while running at a silky smooth 60 FPS at 1080p.

Better than expected
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought a PS4 and am new to the gaming environment. Some of the games I have played seem to lose my interest after awhile. So, far this games has not lot my interested. The story and effects are pretty good. I like the scenes and being underground. I would recommend this game as a good starter but of course a more experienced gamer can increase the difficulty level if needed (not me lol).

Great experience. Great game dynamics.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Metro is overall a great game that has alot of new elements in a somewhat stagnant category/genre. Metro is a great story of post-apocalyptic Russia where mutants and other familiar regimes from history act as your foe. The gameplay is solid and the new elements it adds cause lots of new strategies to be used that you don't commonly see in FPS's. While being swamped by mutants and monsters, having to change your gas mask filter sounds like a hassle, but it adds a really fun frantic element to the game that is hard to find elsewhere. I rated 4 of 5 stars as the voice acting is terrible and often times painful to listen to. Also, it seems every mission ends/begins with you being knocked out, passed out, or waking up. While these aren't detracting from the actual game, they are issues that really stand out as corny, so can't be perfect!

Very fun game
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not in love with the story but the gameplay was very challenging and suspenseful specially when not partnered with my comrades. Both games were upgraded version well from the older consoles from the video comparisons I've seen. This is a sleeper game and was well worth the approximate 12-15 hrs a piece it took to finish each game.

2 Great games.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Both of these are great games. They are updated from the last generation versions. They aren't quite up to the PC versions on graphics, but they both look and play very well on PS4. Great single player shooters, with great atmosphere.

Great Remastered Titles
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Two great remastered titles for the price of one game. This is an essential pick-up for anyone who has jumped shipped to the current gen consoles. They are not your average run-of-the mill first person shooters.

Fun and interesting
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I ripped through both games in a matter of weeks. The story is awesome and gameplay is quick and responsive. It keeps you wanting to play just one more level. Very good. My only complaint is the fact that because of its addictive nature it seems awfully short.

Two awesome gamees for the price of one
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't have high expectations from Metro Redux, but I was pleasantly surprised when I played them. I'm not a big fan of horror games, but they managed to give you the right mix of gore and action. The story gets better as you progress further. The graphics are great. My only complaint is that you can't independently turn up the voice audio. All characters speak with a Russian accent and at times it's hard to understand what they're saying with all the background noise.

Gritty Little 1st Person Shooter
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The premise is great, and the storyline is good if not somewhat predictable at times. The action is intense with moments up let up that heightens the tension for the next conflict. The air purifiers are a serious pain but make for a background threat that can become the main enemy at times. Not a top shelf title but a should play at the least.

Incredible Immersive Experience
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was playing the originals on PS3 and they ran too slow and ugly to enjoy. This collection is incredible. Great graphics, tight gameplay and story. THe tension is real exploring the dark world and counting the ammo I have left to make sure my kills count. It's just an incredible game. I've also found myself taken in by a lot of Russian fiction lately. I recommend this game to anyone that wants an intense horror FPS experience.
