Although it's VERY speedrunnable, it's unquestionably a modern medroid masterpiece. I'm still waiting for a Prime installment next, but I loved to take up on the story where we left off in the Game Boy Advance series over a decade and a half ago. Lots of fun!

After the last remake of Metroid 2 on the 3DS (and that awful Federation spin-off) Nintendo is finally giving us a new take on the greatest space hunter heroine. This one includes new enemies, environment and weapons for an awesome time.

Game is fantastic. Plays like a classic Metroid with a fresh coat of paint. Bestbuy shipping and handling of the product is as abysmal as ever. For a specil edition this box was banged up, flaired corners and dents. I expect better on any product, but damage on anything is unacceptable.

I wasn’t a huge Metroid fan prior to this game, but after playing through a few times I can honestly say this is one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences I’ve had this year. It’s a challenging game, but satisfying to overcome.

First off, the box is much bigger than it appears in the picture. Plus it's made with a foil material, and looks very cool. As for the items inside, the hardcover book is impressive, and the SteelBook and art cards are also nice. But it's disappointing that it does not come with the standard Switch case for the game (like the European version does).

A must! Reminiscent of the moodiness of Metroid Fusion. I wish Best Buy would take care of the boxes of Special Edition games. This is the third Special Edition I've bought from Union City Best Buy and it had a ding on it.

Bought this for my brother for Christmas. Arrived safely and in very good condition. My brother loved the game as well as the art book, steel case, as well as the art cards. Glad I was able to get one!

The look pf this collectors edition was really good. I was lucky to get this version of the game and its great. Not a lot in there but everything is quality. There should have been more copies made though...

Game is awesome and old school. Box is huge and hefty! Get this boxset if you still can.

One of the best purchased I have ever made!! Really enjoyed looking into the art book . It’s got some weight. Highly recommend if you love Metroid!!

Was able to pick up curbside on release day no issues. Game is great, been a long time Metroid fan and this is everything it brings in a modernized way. Binged this over the weekend it was great

Metroid Dread: Special Edition for the Nintendo Switch was a complete surprise on how big the box is. Extremely cool display piece. The game itself has been fun so far. I highly recommend it.

A fantastic game with some great extras for the Collectors Edition. Sadly incredibly rare if you can find for retail or reasonable price i'd recommend it if you like the Metroid series

The contents in the special edition were very nostalgic to the Metroid series. The game will give you 10-30 hours of play. I'm hoping more downloadable content will come.

This special edition is really nice but it’s gigantic because of the art book. This thing probably won’t fit on your game shelf; might have to display it on a bookshelf or something.

This Special Edition is absolutely amazing. Hardcover book and the Steelbook Case is beautiful! If you miraculously find this at Best Buy (highly doubt you will) buy it. It’s worth it

Nintendo needs to build on this franchise with not only the Prime series, and this game doesn't disappoint. The collector's stuff was a great bonus.

So glad I was able to get 2 of these. The scalpers made it almost impossible. Got one for collecting and one to open and enjoy. Pleased with the purchase, no major damage.
