I must say that as Metroid Prime fan I really enjoyed this game despite what the "critics" say. It does have a little too much dialog for my liking but the experience overall was definitely great. Great visuals, great soundtracks, boss fights were really awesome and it really gives you a lot of hours full of fun. If you enjoyed the other Metroid Prime games you will definitely enjoy this one as well.

I know this game has received a lot of negative reviews online for a many reasons. I have finished the game, and I have played the first prime game. Overall this game isn't as good as previous prime games but it's still a good game worth playing especially if your a Metroid fan. Just because this game isn't a 10/10 or a 9/10 game doesn't mean you should avoid it. I personally give it a 8.5/10. This game does a good job immersing the player in the world and is very impressive graphically. I didn't encounter any bugs or frame rate issues. The gameplay is just like previous prime games and is more linear kinda like fusion. Another highlight is the boss fights are really good. Also I will clear up majority of the negative points people bring up online.
1. The NPCs voice lines and dialogue
Majority of the NPCs dialogue is when you first encounter them or if a story event is occurring. Beyond that the engineer will guide you along once every 15-20min if your in the open desert area. If your not in the desert he will NOT talk.
2. The open desert area is empty and boring
The desert is a bit empty but it still has things to do. Also you get to ride a motorcycle which is actually very fun. There's mini dungeons, crystals, side quest items, enemy encounters, etc.
3. I have to collect crystals to progress in the story, this is bad.
Yes, this does happen towards the end. I don't see why people are bringing this up because this was in prime 1, but in that game you had to find a more challenging item compared to crystals. It probably took me 15 min of crystal collecting to finish the required part. I did collect crystals and did mini dungeons as I was progressing through the story.
Conclusion
If your a fan of Metroid, yes you will enjoy this game. It's also very beginner friendly so if your new to this series you could start here. It's not a bad game, don't believe all the negativity online.

Visually, Metroid Prime 4 is stunning. Alien landscapes are rich with detail, lighting sets a haunting tone, and the soundtrack elevates every moment with eerie, unforgettable themes. Boss battles are intense and memorable, pushing your skills while delivering pure adrenaline.

Alright, I know this game has flaws, and according to some, those flaws are enough to drag down the entire experience of playing Metroid Prime 4. But for me, those flaws might as well be nitpicks compared to everything this game does so, so right. The art direction is the best of any Metroid game, and maybe any Nintendo game. The combat is excellent, ESPECIALLY when it comes to the boss fights. The more linear exploration is a negative for some, but allows the game's pacing and organic storytelling to flurish, similar to Metroid Fusion. On that topic, the story has its problems, sure, but it also introduces a lot of fascinating concepts. And trust me, if you give them a chance, the characters do grow on you (Even Myles). And that soundtrack? 10/10, as is expected for Metroid. I'd recommend this game to just about anyone who can enjoy a game for what it is, rather than focusing on what it isn't. After all these years, no other game gives me the same feeling the Prime series evokes, and Prime 4 has all of that in spades.

This game was a bit disappointing as it's very linear and holds your hand too much. The atmosphere and music is wonderful, but it doesn't feel like a Metroid Prime game where you can get lost and have a blast exploring. Unlike previous games, the areas don't connect to each other, but instead to a big empty desert area and as a result, they feel more like linear levels. Overall, this is a fine game, but for a Metroid game, it doesn't offer most of what you'd expect.

Awsome world and atmosphere. Graphics look amazing. Play in 4K 60 fps or 1080p 120 fps! Would definitely recommend picking this up if you had to choose only one game!

Really like this title in for the Metroid Prime series, which continues the thing I like most about Metroid games is that each entry feels like a vastly different game than the one that came before it. The sci-fi elements in this game, like the other Prime games, just put this series on another level that I can't get from other sci-fi titles. Has some quirks, but those quirks don't annoy me because I've seen worse in other games. Just hope it takes a shorter time to get another Metroid Prime game than it took to get 4.

The game is fine, but its not a game that should have taken 8 years to come out. Its not a Metroid game either, Its more like severely cut down Zelda game. For me this game wasn't what I was looking for, its like they are embarrassed of Prime 1 and keep running away from it towards modern AAA FPS games. If that sounds fun to you I'm sure you will love it. For me its like a 7/10

Metroid Prime 4 Beyond is a good game not an excellent game, specially after 8 years and all the hype that was created. I am really waiting for Metroid Dread 2 !!!

I haven't beat the game yet but I am having fun with it so far. It's my first real experience with one of the Prime series of Metroid games and its entertaining so far. I can't give it 5 stars since the story and gameplay are fun but nothing that blow my mind. The puzzles are pretty basic so nothing that has tripped me up so far. A fair amount of back tracking as powerups are hidden behind later acquired upgrades but I believe this is pretty standard for the series. It does run well in 4k and I haven't noticed any frame drops or control issues so far. I would say any Metroid Prime fans would enjoy the game and would enjoy having it in their collection!
