Some reviews suggest provlems with NPCs talking or the desert being too barren, I honestly never had problems with those.

Too talky with NPCs and the hub desert area is very underwhelming. The stages feel more like Zelda dungeons than interconnected Metroid areas. And yet, Metroid Prime is still Metroid Prime and I had a great time most of the time.

Good but VERY dissapointing

Each of the main areas are the most linear in the series, there's an empty desert, and NPCs that ruin the atmosphere in many areas. There's also a lack on new abilities that shake up the gameplay. Art direction and music is good, and there's still a few atmospheric moments. The overall physical copy I have no complaints.
