Metroid Prime on Switch is a beautifully polished experience. It’s the same game room for room and enemy for enemy as the original, but the graphics have been vastly improved for Switch. Honestly, it’s one of the best looking games on the Switch. Also improved from the original is a wealth of accessibility options, which make the game customizable. Lastly, the entire game is on the cart— you don’t need to download an update to play it. I’m not usually a fan of this genre of game (FPS), but this is a Nintendo and Metroid experience, so it pulled me in. Highly recommended.

If you have played the game, I can’t tell you much, but they did a great job with the new looks and controls, love the game.

Blast to the past in HD. Remember getting this game as a kid for the GameCube, loved every minute of it. Now its in HD and portable!

One of the best switch games i have played on the system! Gameplay is great, story is not very strong but boss batles and Gameplay make up for it all! Highly recommend adding it to your collection.

Great game, brings back old memories. Didn't get to finish it back on gamecube so now I have the chance to finish the game on the switch with my switch pro controller.

One of the greatest games of all time, but now in gorgeous HD. The controls are smooth, the visuals are beautiful.. it's a 10 out of 10 for me.

This is one of my favorite games of 2023, and I swear it's not because it's a remaster of my favorite game of all time! There is a fetch quest near the end that admittedly has been a problem with most Metroid Prime games, and that problem started with the original Metroid Prime, but by this point, you're well equipped for any encounters, so it's just a stroll through immersive environments with little stress. The remaster of the is absolutely amazing. Definitely a must buy for the switch. Graphics are better than ever and controls are very well thought out.

I haven't played Metroid Prime in over a decade before Nintendo shadow-dropped this remaster. What is truly incredible about this version of the game is just how well the original game design has aged. Much like the Demon's Souls remaster, this is a stunning visual upgrade with some quality-of-life enhancements, yet with the core of the original very much present. Also, this game looks incredible. YouTube videos and screenshots don't do the visuals justice. It is by far the most graphically impressive game on the Switch, and frequently rivals the other consoles.

Played this game in childhood and getting to play again is a treat. A very beginner friendly entry too.

The original on Gamecube was amazing. The game still holds up 20 years later with updated visuals. I like the option for your choice of control scheme.

Maybe Im a little biased on this one, sin i've played several times all the metroid prime games, but, If you like to explore REALLY BEAUTIFULL alien worlds with AWESOME music, backtracking to find new equipment and fighting big bosses, this game is for you. The graphic overhaull that they achived in this game is really good. Really looking forward to see if Nintendo decides to do the same with the Prime2 and 3 before launching Prime4

Takes me back to my childhood, it plays better and looks better than ever

Great remaster for a great price. Runs perfectly and looks amazing for a switch game. Unfortunately nintendo cut some features of the original, like the ability to play the original metroid from the menu as an unlockable. But ran perfectly all the way through with no framerate dips or glitches. Definitely recommend it and hopefully they remaster prime 2 and 3.

Such a wonderful game. Feels more like a remake since there are areas that feel made from the ground up. No regrets.
