Never really played the series before. Really good game, but the sound is not up to par with the rest of the experience. Additionally, the backtracking you have to do might turn off some people.

While I think that this game was fun, it definitely feels outdated and something of years past. I am a big fan of the metroidvania genre across games like Hollow, Knight and even recent games like ender lilies. So I decided to give this franchise a chance and heard that this was a first person shooter take on that. There is a lot of backtracking and loading screens that really break up the fun, other than that, if you're a GameCube buff, I think this is a game that should be tried at some point, even if not at full price.

This is a great game from the game cube era that has been remastered with nice hd graphics. If you are a Metroid fan this game translates the adventure/ exploration into 3D nicely.

Awesome game, I do wish they would have remastered all of the prime games and put them all in one. Other than that I am very happy with this game.

Excellent remaster of a classic title. The game itself has aged in some areas (mainly backtracking overload towards the end) but still an excellent Nintendo title

Very fun, lets you switch between modern controls and classic, and exploration is great.

Great remake of the game. Worth it if you haven't played the original back on gamecube. If you've already played it, I would wait for a sale or try to get this game used.
