One of the best games I have ever played can’t believe I had never played it on GCN

just bought this and this remaster is awesome!! graphics are sick AF!! and the controls are very simple, thought was going to have a problem, but not so much very great job done

I bought the original Metroid Prime on the Gamecube at release and loved everything about it. If you came off of the 2D games at the time, the 3D exploration and lore scanning added a great depth to Metroid universe. This game is all of the original nicely remastered (feels more like a remake). Probably best played on the OLED model because there are some dark areas which will benefit from the high contrast. The controls are thankfully refined to modern standards, though almost to the point where the game feels easy because of it.

One of the best games of its generation (if not of all time) is finally back on a modern platform, with modernized controls and gorgeous remastered graphics. And for only $40?! No brainer.

A very well done remaster that reworked the visuals to give a very well updated presentation and dramatically improved the play experience with a vastly improved control scheme and QoL.

If you played the original then you know how good Metroid prime was on gamecube. With the updated visuals this game is elevated. Recommend to play this again on switch. If you're new to the prime series of Metroid then prepare yourself. All the greatness of the 2d Metroid games is here. With a new threat that threaten the chozo and the corruption of the planet tallon lV Samus is now on a new mission to figure out what happened. Alot of the familiar power ups are here with a few new ones. The music, the gorgeous environments, the new enemies and the lore all come together for a fantastic game. Not just a must play for metroid fans but for every gamer.

Nintendo has done an amazing job bringing this classic up to modern visual standards. The gameplay remains amazing, though some annoyances from an older age remain in level design and navigation systems.

A beautiful remastering of prime. This is a must have for any Metroid fan alone and for anyone who owns a switch. Get the physical over the digital imo.

The game is incredible and it has the best visuals on Switch. If you have played this game before I still think you will love the visual change. Great price and a lot of fun.

A fantastic game now made with modernized graphics and controls. Dual stick controls give a fresh feel while also having options for classic, and motion control schemes if you prefer.

Already knew this was a great game and even better with the updated graphics/controls! Glad to get it day 1 at Best Buy! Have had problems with other preorders but never Best Buy.

Metriod is an outstanding IP and Nintendo nailed it on the remaster. The controls and graphics are on point and I recommend for any Metroid fan.

Better in every way than the nintendo gamecube version. The graphical upgrade is wonder, and the modern controls are a welcome. I dare you to find a better game for $40 on switch.

Metroid Prime remastered is a perfect entry in this saga for those who hadn't played the first version. The upgraded graphics and resolution go great with the Switch 1 and 2.

Excellent visuals allow you to experience this nostalgic game all over again and it does not disappoint! The controls also feel very smooth with a switch pro controller.

This is my first time playing this game. I never played the original Gamecube game but I had a good time with this one. It has modern controls and looks fantastic.
