Got this game to prepare for Metroid prime 4. Have not played another Metroid game since dread and prefer 1st person. Has been fun so far with exploring and puzzles. A good buy.

Turns out it was more than just a remaster is a full overhaul with new controls and in game models.

This game is more of a remake than a remaster on how much was improved here. its a must have for the switch and hopefully the next 2 games in the prime trilogy come out too.

This is as good as a remaster as one can ask. The game has had an audio-visual overhaul and all of it works. The gameplay has also been updated to allow for different control styles. Beyond that Metroid Prime Remastered is the same as it was on the GameCube.

Excellent game, and quite graphically impressive for Nintendo Switch. The atmosphere is mysterious and exciting, and the gameplay is very engaging. I never played the original, so this first playthrough is a great experience. The game is mildly challenging, but definitely beatable for most players, especially for those willing to spend time stocking up on upgrades. Definitely give this game a try!

Having played the original over a decade ago, this is definitely an amazing remaster. This is how games should be remastered. This is no simple upscale. Visuals have been tweaked to make everything look stunning on the Nintendo Switch at a constant 60 fps (with very rare stutters). I believe this is the definitive version that people should pick up if it is their first entry into the Metroid Prime series.

Great game and for the price it is worth it, I spend hours of good time fun with this game

The game is just as fun as it was back in the day with beautiful graphics to boot. Any controller scheme in the book is available and that includes using your joycons as a wii remote and nunchuck. Though it is a little more finicky than it was with the sensor bar. Metroid is a fantastic series if you are looking for a fun adventure where you can only get stronger and feel it.

Game is a masterpiece ! Graphics are top notch and I feel like I'm a kid again getting to replay this. This is a perfect remaster !
