Great gameplay like the original cube version. improved graphics. it really impressed me. i was playing the og prime a few months ago.. yes I do still have my old cube and game. maybe ill do a play-through on that as a real comparison. The bad...Every game has it... I do not like the controls vs GameCube. even in gamecube mode, it doesn't feel good. In switch mode, your fingers get confused sometimes. NO Fuzion suit connection bonus or Original Metroid. i been playing the game for 12-14 hours so far and i still hate most the controls. i am deducting 1 star because of the bad. Great game and a much-needed release but the controls suck in my opinion. i find it slower to react vs enemies

Admittingly, I missed out on the original release but was excited to pick this up with all of the quality of life enhancement based on today's controller layout. The game looks great and runs well.

Played this several times on the Gamecube adaptor for the Wii. Now have it on the Switch! Since receiving it, I have already played the game through 100% completion twice. Wonderful game, invoking all the memories of the past. Graphics are greatly improved from the original.

This remaster has been so good it’s confusing how it’s not even a remake. More people who do remasters or remakes should look at this and resident evil for how to do remakes. In addition for dead space.

An incredible return to one of the best games of all time, it's still the same game you know and love just the upgraded visuals enhance the experience even more, the best looking game on the switch. I hope and pray we get 2 and 3 remastered with this level of quality.

The game is amazing! For someone who doesn’t really play shooters, it’s very easy to get into. Amazing graphical upgrades and fluidity of game play. It runs like a dream. Wish Nintendo physical releases came with something besides just the cartridge, miss the days or the booklet.

10/10 5 stars.....First off, the order and pickup system has been my favorite part of working with Best Buy. I myself grew up on the older metroid games, and i found this game to be a perfect remaster port, nintendo has outdone themselves. Very Satisfied.

Any body who was a fan of the original will be very nostalgic in playing the remastered version. Hoping remastered versions come out for 2 and 3. I ended buying two copies one for my collection still in the wrapper and one the pay.

This game is incredible. It looks amazing, the gameplay is very fun, and its very polished. Its a great adventure game with fun and challenging puzzles and the game really rewards exploration and curiousity. As a new Metroid fan, this has been such a great experience.

Great game. I'm more into the other metroid games and never really got into the prime trilogy but playing through this has been a fun experience. The game looks and runs well on switch i just wish people would stop leaving one star reviews due to stock issues and availability

I got the original game on the GameCube when it first released as a birthday present. This remaster is literally the same exact game but with modern controls. It is definitely a must have/played game if you had missed it. I would recommend playing the game with headphones on

This is a fantasic remaster that some would say borders on a remake. The visual overhaul is massive and it runs at a mostly locked 60fps. Makes some smart changes to the controls as well. If you liked the original this remaster is a no brainer at $40.

Metriod Prime finally on switch great game would recommendit and guarantee you going to like it one of Nintendo best game that came out, if your a fan of Metriod must have for the collection!

I played the original version of this game on the Game Cube. Playability really holds up to other more "modern" games, while the enhanced graphics make this a great buy. I really hope they release the Metroid Prime sequels to this console as well.

A classic I remember playing this game in middle school glad they remade it never got to play the sequels hope they get a remaster as well

A fantastic remaster of one of the best games ever made. Not only are all the textures and models updated for the modern day, but the feel of the original is fully intact alongside the choice between improved controls and how it originally was on the GameCube.

The upgrade to visuals and framerate nintendo has done with the remaster of metroid brings the game into current gen with style. My son is notoriously "old game is old" but this one has engrossed him from start to finish.
