Simply one of the best games of all time. The original has only truly aged in it's controls, it begs for a proper dual analog setup and now it has it and then some with the gyro additions. On top of that, it has a fresh coat of paint that, much like the original was to the GameCube, makes it one of if not the most visually stunning games on Switch.

Always wanted to play this game, totally worth it, highly recommended

This is as good as a remaster as one can ask. The game has had an audio-visual overhaul and all of it works. The gameplay has also been updated to allow for different control styles. Beyond that Metroid Prime Remastered is the same as it was on the GameCube.

This Remaster does a great job transitioning an old Gamecube game for the modern console. There are a few minor gripes in lighting and visual effects that the original was better at but the overall performance and modernized controller setup for the Pro Controller make it easily the most accessible 3D Metroid game ever. Highly recommended for Switch owners.

This is my first real Metroid purchase. Great graphics and controls but it is confusing when you first jump in. I had to watch a couple of videos to learn what path to take, so if you like a game that doesn’t hold your hand you’ll love this.

Absolutely love this game. Didn’t own a GC or Wii so I missed out on this classic. Metroid Prime is a reinvention of metroidvanias similar to GoW 2018; only MP did it decades earlier. I’m not into FPS - but an adventure game with some shooting elements just blends so well together here. Visuals are stunning and music is excellent. Must buy for switch owners.

Remember having a blast playing this game one the old NES so wanted to get the updated version for my son to play on the switch.

I really like this game when it first came out for Game cube. Now in switch the grephics and gameplay get better. The general experience of the game is very good and I really like the adventure and puzzles you have to solved in this game. I truly recommended for all ages. This is a game you shall have if you have a switch.

Wow I am impressed with the upgrade. Playing this on the OLED model switch and it looks like I’m playing on a switch 2 or something! How did they manage to do this and why on earth are people even demanding a new switch? Just get this game and play it on the new OLED model. Looks near 4K and beautiful and sharp graphics and colors. Such a classic game!!!

This is how you do a remaster! With quality of life improvements to the controls and various other mechanics this is the definitive way to experience Metroid Prime. The game runs like a dream at 60fps with very little frame drops throughout the entire experience. The attention to detail that was paid to this game can finally be seen.
