This is game is a masterpiece. A must play for any Switch owner

The controls are responsive, the gameplay is responsive and full of little details, and the story is captivating. I mean, what more can you really ask for out of a video game. Metroid games are considered all-time classics for a reason and this game is no different. Overall just a superb game for all ages on the Switch.

I remember playing this game when I was a little kid on the Nintendo Gamecube, and to think they revamped the graphics and controls to help fit the Nintendo Switch like how you could play it on either Nintendo Gamecube or Nintendo Wii makes me so nostalgic. The graphics are a step up from back on the Gamecube.

I never played the original and only played a few games in the franchise here and there. Overall, the game is very well polished and fun albeit a bit short. My first playthrough with about 75% collection of both items and log clocked in at just under 15 hrs. There's a moderate amount of reading required for this game to process information and find out what you have to do. Some things that players may find cumbersome would be scanning everything and backtracking. The overall game is only as long as it is because it takes you back and forth to previous areas once you unlock an item that allows you to overcome an obstacle the first time around. Nonetheless, gameplay and and ambience of the game is enjoyable and I look forward to the remake of the sequel of this game.

I have played this game numeous times and this feels like the the definitive edition. The controls have never felt more precise and the visuals are stunning and I keep find new interesting tidbits in the environmental storytelling that makes each playthrough worthwhile. Please get this game and let The Metroid series reach new heights!

“Metroid Prime Remastered” is a good game. It opens well and has great atmosphere. This remaster overall enhances the visuals in a way that is faithful to the original. On the negative side, the remaster removes some minor visual effects like beams illuminating the environment. And like the original version, the game becomes increasingly tedious as it goes on. Regenerating enemies were my main annoyance, in addition to the infamous fetch quest at the end. It wouldn’t surprise me if most people don’t end up finishing the game for those reasons. All that said, “Metroid Prime Remastered” is a good game and I recommend it.

A great entry to the Metroid™️ Franchise and it's first jump into 3D. Comparing it to the Original it's one heck of an upgrade. Keeping the Art Style faithful to the Original while Enhancing it immensely along with multiple control schemes that new and old fans can be comfortable with.

Yeah this game is truly a masterpiece. It was made during the peak era of video games if you ask me. They had better remaster Echos as well. Metroid prime 3, I didn't play much of that but I heard it's pretty good too. They need all the remasters of the prime games then give us Metroid Prime 4.

Fantastic game, looks amazing. I had the original Prime on the GameCube and this version is simply gorgeous. Big thanks to Nintendo for not price-gouging on this game, too. $40 is certainly reasonable, and kinda takes the burn off their newer high-priced (yet must have) game that just came out.

a Gamecube masterpiece is now a Switch masterpiece. first person adventure of a lone bounty hunter in space…this remastered is beautiful and gives you many controls to use even splatoon gyro aiming…I’m hoping they release Prime 2 and 3 the same way…its exciting to have a new generation experience this amazing game!

I was there 20 ish years ago when Prime came out on gamecube. It was great then and its better now. In my opinion its the best looking switch game. The updates controlles are great and the option to play like it did on Gamecube is there if you want it. Grest overall package. Hope they do the same woth Prime 2 and 3

A remaster of one of the best games ever made and one of the best looking Switch games ever made. It would have been nice if they had done some QoL things but it is still one of the best games ever made.

Metroid Prime is still one of the greatest single player games of all time. Updated graphics and controls make it even better. Looking forward to the remaster of Metroid Prime 2, but I wish Nintendo released the entire trilogy all at once (even though I'd skip Metroid Prime 3).

First time player of this game and was blown away how a 20 plus year old game is better than stuff coming out now

Metroid Prime was an amazing game back on the Gamecube and Wii, but now with even better controls and a VERY comprehensive graphical overhaul, it is better than ever. This is a MUST buy for fans and newcomers to the series alike. One of the best looking and playing Switch titles out there.

Easily one of the best games of all time. This remake, with its updated graphics, controls, and quality of life changes, puts it on a higher pedestal than the original GameCube release. The game is pure joy to play and you’ll get so enthralled by it it’ll be over before you know it.
