I have not meant anyone that is a bigger fan of Metroid than I am. I already owned the original game on the GameCube for both North America and Japan, I have the trilogy on the Wii, will eventually get the stand alone Wii version only released in Japan, and had to have this Switch version. It is graphically impressive, which is saying a lot since the original game was already impressive, and even more so considering the Switch is the weakest of the current gen consoles. This is a must have for Switch!

Overall, i am very happy with my purchase and customer service. I happened to stumble on this game and had heard hood reviews about it so I am going to give this game a chance. I havent had the time to play it as I have many other games but I am excited when i do get the chance to play. The price was pretty good as well and best buy always has hood deals when it comes to video games. Thanks Best Buy for your business, I'll be purchasing more in the future!

This is undeniably the definitive version of Metroid Prime. It's a classic / all-time great, and holds up really well. A must play for anyone into Metroid or just the genre.

Metroid Prime on the Gamecube was a beautiful and well-optimized game. Famous for its lack of load screens and detailed rich environments. Now decades later Metroid Prime Remastered comes as a surprise (more or less) release for the Nintendo Switch. With visuals that are surprisingly faithful to the original game, the new title allows for a much richer experience that's fun for returning or casual players. With multiple control options, there is something for everyone. The only gripe I have is the lack of multiplayer options found in the original, but the single-player content more than makes up for it.

A true masterpiece - the graphical overall is impressive and is one of the best looking games on Switch. The updated controls feel great as well. This is a must have game.

Great game that has needed a remaster like this for a long time. Fixed the controls issues that were prevalent on the Wii and GC. If you like Metroid, this is a must.

Metroid is back and better than ever! Updated graphics and controls. Just waiting for the rest of the prime games to release now!

The classic. Brought forward to current hardware with a bit of a facelift. Looks amazing, plays amazing. It's Metroid Prime.

I cant believe I got to play this again 20 years later and it still feels this amazing to play. Hands down, a must play. Must buy. And at $40, its a steal.

Metroid Prime on Switch is a beautifully polished experience. It’s the same game room for room and enemy for enemy as the original, but the graphics have been vastly improved for Switch. Honestly, it’s one of the best looking games on the Switch. Also improved from the original is a wealth of accessibility options, which make the game customizable. Lastly, the entire game is on the cart— you don’t need to download an update to play it. I’m not usually a fan of this genre of game (FPS), but this is a Nintendo and Metroid experience, so it pulled me in. Highly recommended.

This is one of my favorite games of 2023, and I swear it's not because it's a remaster of my favorite game of all time! There is a fetch quest near the end that admittedly has been a problem with most Metroid Prime games, and that problem started with the original Metroid Prime, but by this point, you're well equipped for any encounters, so it's just a stroll through immersive environments with little stress.
