This download option is useless when I work offline most all the time and the blasted program constantly wants to verify itself, locking me out of the functionality of the program until I reconnect to the internet. I purchased the key, so let me work without having to be online to do so. Useless waste of money. Better to work with Shareware, at least it doesn't constantly lock me out of the program. I'd return it, but I've been trying to make it work somehow for too long. Save your money and use a safe Shareware version instead of this.

The move to continued payment via subscription vs ownership and no disk is unacceptable. The same for the policy of forcing automatic renewal and credit card charges without explicit consent unless you go through hoops to get it changed.

Firstly the return was denied by the bestbuy store although the package was unopened/unscratched. Then was asked to return it by mail by paying the mailing fee. Still didn't hear back from Geeksquad/Bestbuy even after 10 days from the day item was received. Called the customer services regarding my problem, and they put me on hold an hour. Still haven't heard back.

My only issue with O365 is how to cancel. Much easier to find how to leave a review than to cancel the auto subscription. Not showing in my account so left to calling the provided phone number.

Therefore, after 12-months, it will be renewed at the full price. Also keep in mind that it's not easy to stop the auto-renewal.

I contacted Microsoft tech support, who said that the seller (Best Buy) failed to activate it. Trying to figure out how to get this taken care of without having to drive to a Best Buy store. This has already been a big waste of my time!

The online support person could not get it to work and now the level 2 tech person can not get it to work. I am wasting hours on something that used to come on a CD or pre installed. What will happen when it runs out in a year?

The scratch off code gives an “inactive” error. No refunds given by Best Buy and no help from Microsoft! I thought I was getting a good deal, but threw away $49.99!
