It's awful and by the end of the year you have to buy the code again. Buy the permanent instead. The worse thing you can not even return this after you buy no matter you use the code or not. Stupid.

If you're looking to have the Office 365 subscription for more than one user, check out this article to see how you can add multiple users: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Add-several-users-at-the-same-time-to-Office-365-Admin-Help-1f5767ed-e717-4f24-969c-6ea9d412ca88
Beyond that, you might want to check out Office 365 Home. It allows you to share Office 365 between five users!
