I have yet to see Office 365 inside my computer. In the meanwhile, I use Office 2016 but I do not see a trace where Office 365 can be found.

Product decent, but come on, have to renew annually? I think Microsoft has enough money, they can just sell the product and let it go.

Just buy a Mac and use Mac office software

Microsoft 365 has been the industry standard for office software, so it's really more out of necessity than actually wanting to use it. Other software options are much better; however, the conversion and compatibility are not always the greatest when sending documents to organizations that exclusively utilize MS Office. That being said, Apple's suite is by far superior in finished product. The downfall comes in formatting issues in conversion to MSO files, and worse if you are utilizing KeyNote to build a presentation, you really need to use a Mac to fully benefit. I'll explain very briefly, MSO simply cannot handle the graphics and that Mac uses on it's enhanced presentation templates. So, the presentation will come out static and compressed down when moved to MSO, which is a bummer when you are super excited about the amazing presentation you just built. Numbers , on Mac, is also far better in user experience. I do understand that there somewhere around ~160 less functions than Excel; however, you do have to realize that Excel was created in 1987 (to be used on Mac's) and they never delete features as obsolete as they may be. That being said, Numbers is built for the user and natural experience as if you are working with a something pliable in your hands, vs., just numbers and formulas. I simple example is when doing large financial modeling, as I do, I can refer to a data set by name in my equations, if I wish, rather than relying on cell coordinates. This simplifies the workability in that anyone can easily follow your formulas without having to trace them back like it's a forensic project of orienteering on a screen. Also, it goes without saying, the product looks cleaner more visually enhanced than Excel is capable of, lending it a better option for presentation. That being said, if you are working with a dataset of every person in a large city with 70Billion cells of data (real number based on max lines and columns), and need a statistical analysis of how dropping a single drop of purple food dye in a lake will impact every individual in said city, then Excel is your friend. Finally, Pages. Pages is MUCH better for visual appeal, handling of graphics, workability and simplification. In grad school, I used 5 different writing standards for my 3 masters and PhD, and found that Pages was much easier in formating than MS Word. There really isn't much more to say. Overall, as the Mac family adage always goes, "it just works", is very apropos when juxtaposing the Mac version of office software, with MS Office. So, after this long review, if nobody is twisting your arm and holding you at a cliff's edge to buy MS 365, I wouldn't do it if you have a Mac. If you are on a PC, well, you're SOL.

It's Microsoft office and I'd be happy to give it five stars if you didn't have to purchase this every year. I prefer the old fashioned apps on my computer as opposed to Microsoft charging you extra on an annual basis for that.
