Does it all and comparably priced. Really happy with the Microsoft band 2. Better than the band one in comfort and design. Highly recommend if looking for a fitness band that can manage your day to day necessities as well.

I have been reviewing all of the bands for some time and finally settled on the new Microsoft Band 2. I've used it for 2 weeks now and have to say I am glad that i chose this band. It was easier to pair with my phone and operate. I LOVE that i can see when I have a message or call without having to pull my phone out of my purse all the time.

good fitness tracker, all the basics, plus a lot more. Screen is great, step tracking is reliable. I like the sleep tracking and ability to receive texts is kind of neat. I got it for $165 and happy with the price.

I bought this because I preferred the look and liked the features. Clasp is great. A little bulky, but I didn't mind that. The band itself is a rubber material that does not last at all. I had my band replaced after about 3 months of use. Microsoft replaced free of charge, but the second one only lasted about 6 months. The band breaks down near the connection to the clasp. They will not replace it again. The battery could be better. It lasts about 2.5 - 3 days for me. It will last quite a bit longer if you turn off features like Bluetooth, but I want the full functionality.

The band looks slick, fits well and has great features.

I had 2 Ups and after the second one died I wanted something better. Along came Microsoft Band 2 and I loved the difference.

I bought this as a gift and the new owner says that it works great and does everything and more that they needed it to do.

The MS Band 2 does have a lot of great features. It is an in-depth fitness band, has a very good touch screen, and fits nicely on the wrist. The GPS function works great, but can be a bit confusing. I didn't use it as much as I thought I would. Might be good for those who need the extra functionality, but wasn't for me.

The MS Band 2 serves fitness enthusiasts well, with top grades for step/distance accuracy and calories burned. Adequate for optical heart rate (as good as Garmin, Fitbit, or Apple). Mobile and web apps are excellent. Size is a problem, though a vast improvement over Band 1. Battery life is average or worse than others.

The Microsoft Band II is a sleek designed health monitor and phone alert system. It works very well with Windows Phones but has its limitations with Android and iPhones. My battery seems to last very little compared to other smart watches I've used in the past.

Great product for workouts and notifications! Doesn't matter if you're running iOS, android or windows. Great all around.

I actually bought this because I wanted the heart monitor function. It's very helpful to be able to get an idea of what's happening, but I was surprised at the sleep monitor and my sleep patterns. Yes, it has many other features. Mine is paired with a Lumia windows phone and so it does the fun smart stuff like announcing messages and notifications, etc. I like that it does not actually become a speakerphone like some other smart watches, so that i can easily use my bluetooth headset for voice and still be connected to this watch at the same time. I've yet to figure out how to use cortana on the watch, but it's there. - Comfort - it took me a full week to get used to the odd bulk of the band. It seems very well constructed and looks like an interesting piece of jewelry when worn face down. That face-down tip came in very handy because it vibrates when there's a message and then I have time to discreetly flip my wrist so that it doesn't look like I'm watching the clock. I think that i'd like the band a lot better if it were a nice black leather instead of the rubber, but the rubber is functional and sleek too.

I really wanted to like this activity tracker/smart watch hybrid. It had a lot of features with great potential. However, I tried two of the bands and both had power issues. The bands would shut down with about a 90% charge left and the only way to get either of them back up and running was to plug them into the proprietary charging cable (not good for an activity tracker). The welcome screen would pop up and tell me the battery was depleted, even though the battery still held a high charge. I reviewed online support pages and forums and found this was not as uncommon of an issue as it should be. I tried the restart and reset to factory settings troubleshooting that was suggested, but the problems kept returning. Finally, I was just done and made my last return. I would not recommend a Microsoft fitness tracker until they actually test a product before releasing it to consumers.

Microsoft Band 2 is great. Love that it tracks steps and activities and like that you can get notifications for texts and calls. I am a nurse and often keep my phone in my pocket. It is nice to not have to constantly be digging around in my pocket.

The Band 2 is much more ergonomically friendly. Loosing the corners also resulted in the protector staying in place.
