Many appreciate the device's features and compatibility, but some find the battery life could be improved. I purchased the first generation Microsoft Band and enjoyed it tremendously, so acquiring this new second generation Microsoft Band was a no-brainer! Excellent functionality, and most comprehensive data of any competitive product on the market.

Apparently it's and improvement from the original band which must have been a real struggle. I think it needs more information available to help with set up. Not very intuitive. If my son had not had one I would not be wearing it still.

    Best smartwatchish device out there

I tried a lot of different smarwatches and bands. This, by far, beats them all. Competent, easy to use, and very comfortable. Software is stable. I just wish they would get Cortana working with Android. That's about the only missing feature.

According to my 13 year old, this is an awesome band that he likes much better than the Fitbit Surge he had. My only recommendation is to get a protective screen cover because it still gets nicks and scratches even though it is gorilla glass.

I owned the first band and thought it was great. What it lacked in style it made up for in the great number of sensors included. The Band 2 is an improvement in style and wearability.

Nice display and pretty comfortable to wear. Does a nice job of tracking steps. Has same negative as most other GPS watches of not handling tree covered paths when tracking trail runs.

I loved my band 2. The only problem is that I had to exchange it out 3 times in less than a year because the battery would stop working. Everything else about it was great. It would be nice if it was a little more comfortable to wear. If you buy this, YOU MUST BUY the replacement plan, because you will have to exchange it out. If they make a Band 3 and they fix a few problems I will for sure what to try it. I have the FitBit surge now and it is good, it just doesn't give me all the information on my bike rides like the Band does. I like more detailed information about my gains and losses and my splits on miles. The fitbit just gives you basic info.

With the updated resolution the screen is easier to read, curved gorilla glass adds durability and more comfort as well. All of the features from the last watch with even more! Highly recommend especially at the reduced price of 199.99

Had the first generation Microsoft band and was not a fan of the square style. I got the 2nd generation band and like all the features but I wish it was more light weight like the Fitbit and that the bands were different colors.

Bought my girl another fitness band (won't say which one), but it had a few issues including syncing. So I returned it and bought her the Microsoft Band instead. Great decision as she loves it. Liked it myself so now we both have one.

This device, while a tad heavy, is very nicely designed. The screen, touch interface, fit, and charging cable connection are all very good. Two factors lead to me no longer using this device. The first being problematic PC software that would not update properly. The second being that this device is really meant for a Windows phone. Once my Windows phone died, and I decide to move onto Android, I moved on from this device. If you don't have a Windows phone, then you will not have the full functionality of this device. Good luck finding one.

I can't say enough about this thing. It does anything and everything you could ask for (aside from swim tracking, not waterproof). The look of it, the customization, the ease of use makes this the fitness tracker/smart watch hybrid I have seen. Only drawback is the battery, you have to charge this every 24 hours. But given everything it can do it's well worth it. We just bought a second charger for at work so alleviate that problem. I know there are so many options out there but you will not be disappointed with the Band 2.

I purchased the Microsoft band 2 to help me train for a race and I must say I have been very happy with it overall. The touchscreen is easy to navigate and operate. I use it as a watch just as much as I use it as a fitness band. The addition of other apps is also a plus. I really like that when it pairs with my phone I can see who called me or texted me. Also it's very nice to be able to control the volume on my phone while working out without having to take my phone out of my armband. Overall I would recommend this item.

This was bought for my Dad who's never had wearable technology before, however he loves using it, especially for the step counter. Tons of features make this just as good as the Samsung tech and much better than Apple products.

The Microsoft Band 2 does everything it says it will do. I can track my ski runs, bike rides, and any other workout. The alarms work great and are very useful during class as reminders. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.
