I was actually shopping for what would work for my iPhone and this came as the best option after all the research. It's recommended to all who wants to sync up with their devices.

I have had this band since the day it came out and it has already been changed out under warranty because the battery quit taking a charge. Fingers crossed that that was a fluke

    Cracked Band

After reading many reviews and researching the Microsoft Band 2, I purchased on December 30, 2015. I wear it around, but do not treat it hard. Just walking or daily use as a watch. The band has a large crack in it only 6 months after purchasing it. I have read many other comments in various forums that this seems to be a common defect. I sure hope Microsoft stands by their product and remedies this situation

The uses for the product are great and the band integrates well with Outlook and Droids. But my first band had to be returned as it stopped working within three weeks. .

I love all the features of the band, but the battery life is really low. Only about two days. But with ten different sensors running I guess you can't ask for much more.

This is my second Microsoft Band. I have had nothing but a positive experience with this device. I have used several fitness trackers, and this is by far the easiest, and most accurate, device that I have owned. The GPS tracking on the preloaded golf courses is a wonderful new feature. And the interface notifications with my phone is smooth operating. My friends always comment that I never have to look at my phone in my pocket because all my calls, texts, and E-mails, get previewed on the screen on my wrist. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a new fitness tracker.

Hello robh, The amount of time your Band 2 batteries last varies depending on how you use your Band. The batteries have limited recharge cycles (1,000 complete recharge cycles) and cannot be replaced. For tips and tutorials for increasing your battery life, please visit: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-band/en-us/support/hardware/battery-and-charging . We apologize for the frustration this has caused and this hope this was helpful to you. Microsoft

This band paired with the Microsoft Health is just beautiful. They will and keep you motivated to run, exercise, move, stretch or just walk around the neighborhood. Reminds me to keep active and sneak in some steps to reach my daily steps and calorie burn goal. This could have been a 5 star review if the rubber band isn't prone to scratches but I'm fine with it I like the rugged look, makes it seem like I cross train a lot even if the scratches are just from my keyboard.

This is a good for exercise, but it is slightly uncomfortable to wear the device during the day while working or in normal usage. I hope Microsoft will be able to improve the device better in the next release.

Meets all expectations. Those with iwatches and fitbits, wish their device could perform as well as the ms band. Again not a smart watch, but a smart activity band.

I switched from a Fitbit HR to the Band 2 and it was a smooth transition. It linked quickly to my Windows Phone... yes I have a Windows phone :) I like that it displays when an email, call or text is received. You can set an response for text, which is convenient when in a meeting. It will also link up with Cortana, though I have only started to use it, it seems to be working well.

Best smart watch I've had but...

This was a gift for my wife that she just feel in love with but in the end she had to give it up because the band couldn't make it more than 4 or 5 months(she returned 2 over a year period BTW the 2 year replacement plan is a must on things like this). She had a Microsoft phone too which made integration/use awesome. Favorite features were the uv sensor, gps function, the ability to respond to texts from watch, and last but not least it was a great movement and sleep tracker. Finally we are not recommending this because of how the band kept breaking.
