I use this with a Windows Phone. It functions very well in combination. The various activity trackers that it has all seem to function well.

Microsoft Band2 proxides flexibility to add exercises and motivation to the band. App is easy to use but requires frequent charging.

I was really excited when I got this. I could not wait to use it regularly. It has some features I was looking for and it is small. The problem with this unit is battery life. It lasts about a day and then if you cannot get it charged in time, it looses everything. You have to reset the clock and lose your date. I really like the item, just wondering what else is out there. I would recommend it with these small concerns.

Hello Jason, The amount of time your Band 2 batteries last varies depending on how you use your Band. The batteries have limited recharge cycles (1,000 complete recharge cycles) and cannot be replaced. I love the screen, very clear and bright. Heart rate monitor seem accurate for the most part. Would be nice if you could answer back to messages with voice command. Also have trouble with it syncing to the iPhone, have to try multiple times and loses its sync frequently. Haven't yet tried the gps with biking or running. Wear it everyday for work and is holding up pretty well, the band does tend to fade a little bit.

Absolutely amazing! I found myself using my windows phone and band combo waaaay more than Apple Watch and iPhone. The band is more comfortably worn with the screen on the inside of the wrist. And is more discreet in glancing at a text or notification in a formal setting. Wish it had music control and camera control and the band being non replaceable is an issue when it tears (which two of mine did)

I looked at another fitness watch but decided on this because a friend had one and she liked it. I am glad that I decided on the Band 2. The only thing I'm not happy about is I have to charge it every day to 11/2 days. Getting it to sync with my iphone was a real problem until they came out with an update. Now I don't have any problems.

Tracks Walks Great but still has minor issues

Sadly there is not a WALK icon, so i have to use the Run icon then change the type afterwards. The tracking ability is GREAT, it quickly syncs the walks with the Microsoft Health App. I also set it up to then sync walk info from Microsoft Health to the MapMyFitness web site. There is still an issue with it not correctly registering the number of "floors". On a regular walk that has about 50 feet of elevation change it shows 40 to 50 "floors" but the correct info (50 ft) is synced with MapMyFitness

The functionality of the band is great. However, this is my third one and l've had issues with each. The first one did not accurately track my miles while treadmill running. The 2nd died on me mid day and would not respond until I got home that evening to connect it to power even though it was fully charged. Now the 3rd one has fallen apart after less than 15 days of use. Love the band hate the problems.

I bought a fit bit first and didn't like it. I bought the MB2 and love it, it integrates with my android phone perfectly. I mainly use it for sleep patterns and walking/running. In fact I liked it so much I bought one for my wife. Text messages, calls, e-mails all show up on the band so you can leave your phone in your pocket.
