Customers are saying

Customers commend the Band 2 (Small) for its GPS, heart rate, and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its comfortable design and accurate readings. Many appreciate the device's features and compatibility, but some find the battery life could be improved. Concerns were also raised regarding the size and weight of the band, as well as the durability of the band material and its water resistance.

Bought a MD band and it stopped working in a few days. Thanks to Best Buy warranty plan they replaced it instantly. Good features. A bit heavy and bulky. Does the job. Should have been water proof.

My Microsoft Band 2, Is A Fitness tracker, & A Heartrate Monitor with Smartwatch Functions. The Starbucks Card App is the gem of this band! If you're a "Microsoftie" then this will make your day!

    Great idea- bad quality

I bought the band 2 after having the 1. Too bad I gave the 1 away ( but it was uncomfortable). Purchased in April and now in August the band is already breaking. I am a careful user. No rough activity, screen protector at all times. I *love* my electronics. Such a shame the quality doesn't hold up.

Really love this watch, had checked out a few prior to making a purchase and this one stood out. I like getting txt on it and being able to reply back and the little keyboard is pretty accurate! if there's an upgrade come out soon I'm sure to get it and hope they make a better looking band option.

Wore and used Band One (size M) for over a year. Then replaced with Band 2 (size S)! The M clasp had to be used on the tightest position and the S size clasp for me is usually in the middle. I'm a medium framed tall woman and the S size is the best fit. The new shape for the Band 2 is. nice and sleek. It's much more comfortable to wear than the first Band. Love the bright crisp display. They improved the magnetic charger connection on this Band 2. This one has never failed to connect. It's a very nice reliable activity tracker.

Love my MS Band! Great sleep tracker! Use it every night to track my sleep and the wake alarm is awesome! It's silent/vibrates gently wakes me up and doesn't disturb my wife!

    The sleep data is amazing!

I was only looking for something to track my resting heart rate when I sleep (for fertility purposes) so I didn't care about the other features of the Band. The sleep data is super awesome and far exceeded my expectations. I have the RHR I wanted, but it's also helped me improve the quality of my sleep (it tells you moderate/good/optimal, etc.), so that even when I thought I was getting enough sleep, I really wasn't. Once I fell in love with the sleep aspect, I started wearing it to the gym, too. I love my Band, and the only thing I really hate is how UGLY it is. I wish it would at least come in a pretty color, even if the style is bulky.

This version is more streamlined and fine-tuned than the first model. Great smartwatch focused on fitness tracking. I love having my texts and emails at a glance when I'm at work or on the go. Syncs nicely with my Windows phone although it is compatible with iPhone and Android as well.

The heart rate monitor on this band was very inconsistent. When running, some days would say heart rate at 160, other times it'd say only 70, clearly wrong. If heart rate is inaccurate or inconsistent, how can other things be accurate? Stair flights climbed didn't work either. I returned.

Improvement Over the First Band, Not Without Flaws

Microsoft Band 2 is a great improvement over the first band, though it threw me for a loop over how some of the UI has changed (swiping to close something as opposed to a confirmation instead, so it takes a little longer to confirm something). Definitely feels better on the wrist.

Good watch, but has error in the number of stairs. Has many feachers that don't work with a iPhone. It's more trouble than it's worth to do the golf and that's what I bought it for. I do like the Microsoft band 2 for tracking my excercise and I would recommend it to others

I really like my microsoft 2 wrist band. Easy to use but the only problem I ran into was the band cannot give accurate heart reading when you are sweating. Also, The band left a bruise mark on my wrist because it has to be worn kinda snug to keep getting accurate readings.

Very well designed and functional system. It is important to buy the right size. I originally purchased the extra large which was too big. The large fits perfectly.

I use my Microsoft band 2 everyday to help me keep track of things I need to do for my health. Keeping track of my steps alone has improved my blood sugar levels.

The Microsoft band is a very useful smart watch. The ability to check incoming calls text messages and even voice search are very convenient. This watch however does not stand up to my more physical lifestyle and had to be replaced twice in the first year.

I bought this and then quickly returned it. It is so uncommfortable that it leaves marks in your skin. It also is not the most attractive thing in the world. I ended up buying an apple watch for the same price (it was on sale at the time) and I love it way more.

Really like the Microsoft band 2. There is nothing on the market that compares based on price and features. Only issue is that I broke mine in 4 months but lucky I purchased geek squad protection. Which I highly recommend for any wearable Best Buy sells.
