Customers commend the Band 2 (Small) for its GPS, heart rate, and sleep tracking capabilities, along with its comfortable design and accurate readings. Many appreciate the device's features and compatibility, but some find the battery life could be improved. Concerns were also raised regarding the size and weight of the band, as well as the durability of the band material and its water resistance.

My regular walking track has a 2 mile circumference. Every other fitness app confirms this. The band 2 inconsistently reads anywhere between 1.7 to 1.9 miles. I think the gps sampling interval need be reduced to capture turns and nuances on such tracks

i like it as a fitness and sleep tracker. however, the small is a little small but the medium is way too big. it also give me the dreaded skin irritation/rash. now i only wear it during an activity.

Overall the band2 is a good device the weakness is in the microsoft health app. You have to have others apps connected to get the full functionality that shouldbe in the base microsoft app

I really like this fitness band. Love the golf app on it. This one seems to be a little closer on steps than others. It has many functions I use.

I had the jawbone UP 3, the Fitbit, Charge HR and now the Microsoft Band 2. This one is hands down the best, but it is not perfect. It has a battery bump on the inside of the clasp, which makes it extremely uncomfortable. Also, mine the bracelet broke and was replaced under warranty. Microsoft told me how this never happened and blame the damage one me...but when I researched the issue discovered that this has happened to way too many people

This is my second band, way better than the 1st. Does everything I need it to do. Just make sure to get the face protector. I'd had to scratch it.

Love only negative is the battery life. During my last Half Marathon it died at mile 9.5. So it must be at 100% for my runs over 9 miles.

I bought this for my wife for Christmas. She loves it. It interfaces great with both her surface pro and her iPad Air. It stopped syncing with phone after about 6 months but BBY was great and replaced it in the store, no wait!

It kinda takes a while to get used to how it feels on your wrist. It's not as comfortable as some of the competition or as a watch but it's not bad. Gps is good for runners.

Reliable works without a problem. My only complaint is the battery last between 1 1/2 and 2 days or less. It needs to be charged every day. The battery life is a real problem.

Hello Arthur, The amount of time your Band 2 batteries last varies depending on how you use your Band. The batteries have limited recharge cycles (1,000 complete recharge cycles) and cannot be replaced. For tips and tutorials for increasing your battery life, please visit: https://www.microsoft.com/microsoft-band/en-us/support/hardware/battery-and-charging . We apologize for the frustration this has caused and this hope this was helpful to you. Microsoft

    So far so good

Being a band 1 owner, I can say I am much happier with the band 2 than the 1. Some improvements/likes - Much more comfortable to wear - Curved screen - Much easier to charge - Looks more premium, less bulky - Seems to be more accurate (my daily steps have gone up about 1,000 with no change in activities) - Battery life seems improved to me, I can go 2+ days between charges - Now tracks flights of stairs So far I have no real dislikes. I got this in exchange for a defective band 1 and I enjoy it much more. The biggest reason I use the band is for its golf gps and tracking capabilities and being winter here in the northeast I wont be able to check that out for awhile but hopefully works just as well. Overall long term quality remains to be seen but so far i am impressed.

The watch functions well with the Microsoft Lumina cell phones, however we have had to replace it twice due to the band breaking. If purchasing this product, make sure to get the warranty as it will be used often.
