It was a great item for 2 months. Then, one day it quit and there was no reviving it. Not happy with Best Buy. I had the extended plan on it so they took it and gave me sale price back and said I used up the plan? They had no replacements in my size and said it was a discontinued item so that was that. Not happy on either front. But the watch worked great when it worked.

The band is very functional and features many sports related applications. I particularly like the bike function that tracks distance and speed.

Much better than Fitbit and looks nicer! Pricey

Let me start by saying I have now owned every model Fitbit including Surge and the watch and I have owned three Apple Watches. I have gotten rid of all these since they just did not work for me and I was without a fitness device for a while until I spotted this band which is the newly revamped MS Band and I wanted to try it out. So far it is pretty good, still feels a bit uncomfortable and will take some getting used to but it is not bad. What I feel like is different from Fitbit is the clean look and features this band has. See Fitbit just looks cheap and their screen and interface looks like an old style digital watch and it was bulky and looked strange. This band is sleek, a bit larger than I thought but is low on wrist. The touchscreen works great and notifications are similar to Fitbit and Apple Watch. What Microsoft did right was to cram a lot of various fitness pieces into this band which after all this is why you buy a fitness band, for fitness correct? So far I like the amount of things in the band, it does not have glance where it auto turns on when you look at it which is fine. I have yet to work out with it but so far I like this much better than Fitbit. Price is a bit high though.

Wherever I go everyone who sees the Band oohs and ahhs. I do suggest the protection plan as the clasp and rubber bands are prone to breaking.

It did not function as well as I hoped it would. It was bulky on the wrist if you wear dress shirts.

Usually I walked 8000 steps and the band is saying that I burned 2000 calories. The fact is that I'm not getting the right information

I love the band 2, vast improvement on Band 1. I use it as a fitness tracker as well as a pseudo smart watch, good for reading texts and messages as well as receiving notifications. the screen is sharp and clear. I hardly peek at my cellphone anymore. GPS can be improved and the clasp could get slimmer. I get more use out of it than my fitbit.

    Junk after 4 months

Band was ok until the band split where it connects to the bezel. Looking at it, there is a sharp edge internally that cut into the band from the inside. Microsoft wouldn't cover it under warranty. Sheesh, if you wear it as it is supposedly designed to be used and MS will not cover their design defect. Looking online, this appears to be a thing with this band. Getting a Fitbit Blaze tomorrow. Gotta be better than this.

The Band is great, has a lot of features out of the box and Microsoft has been good about keeping updates and new functionality coming. The fit takes a little getting used, but you don't even notice it after the novelty wears off. Love that I can see my email and text messages as well as calendar events on it. Overall, well worth the money...

Wife has had it for about a month now and really likes it. A plus is that it works with her iPhone, something the Samsung did not.

The original HP ink cartridges are the best to replace as the printer will recognize a cartridge that does not meet the specs.
