Many appreciate the device's features and compatibility, but some find the battery life could be improved. Concerns were also raised regarding the size and weight of the band, as well as the durability of the band material and its water resistance.

I needed a new watch, and I wanted to track my exercise efforts, but didn't want the panache of Apple watch (also, I sweat when I workout, so it needed to be cleanable). As long as you use the GPS, it does a great job of tracking your run, speed and distance. I think it underestimates calories burned, a common problem I believe with this type of device, so I don't downgrade it for that.

The GPS was the selling point for me and I was not disappointed. My running route using the Band GPS is better than when I use my exercise app on my phone.

I like the Band 2 so far however Battery Life could better. The clasp is clunky and it does not fit as well as my FitBit did however I love the feature set.

This is a great combination of a fitness tracker and a smart watch. The inclusion of a built-in GPS is perfect for those who want a fitness tracker that can do pretty much everything without needing your smartphone with you at all times. I have used it multiple times on runs and bike rides and the GPS is accurate and the information that is provided via the Health app is fantastic.

I looked for over 6 months before actually making my purchase. I had the great fortune of having an extremely knowledgeable sales person assist me. He had owned almost every activity tracker and was using the Microsoft Band 2 as his favorite. I love the sleep tracking feature as well as everything else it offers. I am totally happy with this and glad I waited to make my purchase.

Great wearable technology. MS has developed a tremendous product. Easy to set up. Heart rate is fairly accurate - note - all wrist worn "heart rate" monitors are less accurate than traditional monitors. Suggest you go with a size smaller than measured. I measured as a large at the store, but had to return for a medium. If possible, try the actual at the store before purchasing.

I bought the band after my moto 360 quit working and have been pleasantly surprised with how well it works. The on screen keyboard makes up for no voice dictation and actually is more accurate. I have a surface pro 3 as well and have to say that Microsoft is doing a wonderful job with their products.

I'm impressed with how many features they've packed in to the band for the price, it's really a great deal compared to other workout bands (especially since I got it on a crazy sale). Right now it's set up with an iPhone and it works perfectly. GPS, heart rate and all. The bonus "smart watch" features are awesome too. Plus it has the battery life to last a few days and isn't super clunky on the wrist. The case and glass are a bit scratch prone but otherwise I can't complain about anything. I just got some poly clear coating (like for your phone) and had no issues. The only real shortfall is that some smart features don't work with iPhone like the Microphone. Really a shame that Siri and text dictating type functions still aren't opened up to work with non-apple products yet. But otherwise it's perfect.

Nothing wrong with the first one except rubber pulled loose from watch portion. Could not be fixed, New one has a few more features. I researched before I bought second one and still preferred the Microsoft bank over all others, Only reason I gave it a 4 rating is because I preferred the look of the first band. This one is not as feminine as the first one I had.

I previously had 2 of the top selling activity tracker bands that broke. I looked into the Microsoft Band 2 and was fairly excited about its versatility, It tracks more than I could of imagined, plus there Microsoft Health app is amazing at what it does. The only complaint I have is I have to charge it every other day, BUT not a big deal Excellent purchase!!

The MS Band 2 rocks. I wear it with the face on the inside of my wrist. I've banged the face a few times on surfaces but it doesn't have a single scratch. The band itself is a soft rubber that is very comfortable to wear. The clasp is metal and very sturdy. My favorite feature is the sleep tracking, with tons of useful info, let alone the fitness tracking.

A lot of complaints by others about battery life, I work out most every evening and shower right after. I just throw it on the charger during my showers and it's great for my regular daily activities. I got the lose it app and it paired great with the band. Very happy with it!

I purchased this product primarily for the golf application, which does not seem to work as advertised. Not sure if the problem lies with this product, the application, or me as I cannot find any instructions for the appl. Sleep application does not seem to work correctly either, as it tells me that I am asleep less than half the time that I am in bed. Heart rate monitor and steps counted seem to be relatively accurate.

I had the first Microsoft band and loved it. This is a cross between a fitness band and a smart watch. Texts emails and calls register from your phone as well as notifications. It tracks excersize and activity. And so much more. It has a great battery life considering the the amount of function. It is also more comfortable then the old band!

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. Not only does it looks better than other wearables, it also does alot more. I have read where it does more than the apple watch as far as fitness and wellness. Looks sharp as well.
