Best buy for functionality and value
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This exercise and fitness band has the most functionality for the $$. It is compatible with all types of phones. Extremely easy to program your custom workouts and sync them to the band. I would recommend this band over the others that are out there. I particularly love the golf functionality and post round analytics on the Taylor Made site.

Needs more features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using for a month now in my opinion it lacks features. It could use a better battery so that you can go longer periods before charging. Right now I have to charge it daily. I would like to see a portrait mode option. Would also like option to change band color, gray is drab and scratches easily. Would also be more useful if it gave you suggestions on how to meet your daily set goals.

More comfortable & better construction
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first Microsoft Band lasted about 6 months before the coating on the band started breaking down and pealing off. The only other complaint I had for the original Band was the flat screen that was not particularly comfortable to wear. Enter the Band 2. The screen face and case have a gentle curve to them making the device much more comfortable. The charging port is also now in the clasp improving the reliability of the USB connection. Battery life is pretty good for a wearable with a display lasting almost a week if you don't enable clock-mode. Paired with the Microsoft Health app, the Band 2 works well with my iPhone though I wish I could talk to Siri through the band like you can with Cortana on a Windows Phone.

Loving it so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took me a day or two to get used to how I was going to wear it. It's been a long time since I've even worn a watch. I found it most comfortable with the screen facing down and sliding it up on my arm a hair higher than I originally thought I'd put it, so that it didn't interfere with the flexing of my wrist as I went about normal daily activities and so that it didn't get in the way of my keyboard wrist rest at my computer. I mostly forget it's there now. The sync and features are great, and the price is pretty competitive compared to the far less featureful Fitbit etc wristbands. The integration with my Windows Phone is also nice, and typing on the tiny keyboard to reply to a text is surprisingly easy. Just take a few hours to play around and try everything on it as they don't really give you a full walk through of how to do certain things, like editing a text after you type it but before you send it. You can remove, edit, and insert words for instance, once you figure it out. No regrets here, really enjoying it and looking forward to the auto scoring feature when I get back out golfing!

Great but still needs work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The band was a great device and I enjoyed having it but there some items that could and should be improved in the next model and the main issue is the battery pack was in the arm band and it constantly got in the way. So I could not type or get any work done

Good Mixture for wearable tech
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First thing that attracted me to this item is that I wanted a smart watch but I don't like watches and I wanted something that did more that the fitbit bands. The only two options I had to fit my wants were the Samsung Gear Fit and the Microsoft band 2. Now here is a caveat, I have a windows phone and apparently the Samsung Gear Fit isn't compatible with a Windows Phone. Which didn't matter much as I preferred the fit and finish of the Microsoft Band 2 and the Microsoft Band 2 works with Android, IOS, and Windows Phone. The band is completely customizable when it comes to background and even the tiles that are shown. Has the basic fitness tracker applications such as steps, calories burned, heart rate, and it can even track steps. It can also track your run, bike ride, and the one that caught my eye your golf game. It will also let you see a text coming in and has a usable keyboard and voice to text to reply directly from the band. There are more features to explore but those are the ones I wanted. If you are looking for wearable tech give the Microsoft Band 2 a good look, it may surprise you.

Microsoft - Microsoft Band 2 Activity Tracker + He
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Microsoft - Microsoft Band 2 Activity Tracker + Heart Rate (Large) - Black- I just love my Microsoft Band 2 Activity Tracker. Beside all the health tracking feature, I am more interested in the track of sleep. I can't wait to wake up to see how many hours I was either sleep or restless. Wonderful product.

nice features poor battery
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When my gear fit stopped working i decided to try the band 2 because of the continuous heart rate monitor and smart watch functions. the directions for use were sparse but was able to figure out after playing with it for a while. Great smartwatch just real poor battery life. i have to recharge it daily

Amazing Fitness Tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this item exclusively as a fitness tracker because I use an Android phone. However, I was pleasantly surprised because the Band 2 connects with my Nexus 6P and notifies me when I receive a text message or a call. I am impressive with the fitness tracking aspect of the device as well. The Band 2 keeps track of my steps, runs, and my heart rate. The best part of the device is that it has built-in GPS so I do not need to carry my phone with me. I would definitely recommend this device to anyone that needs to track their fitness.

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch is great. It syncs well with Apple os. Downloadable app for Microsoft health allows you to track everything. Siri is not available for use with this watch, but everything else works great. I don't have much use for Siri in a watch anyway. So not an issue for me. This was an excellent purchase

Good watch, can be better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this watch after testing and reading the reviews of several other watches. I have a Fitbit HR and so I was looking for another watch with a heart rate monitor, alarm, sleep tracking as well as a GPS. This watch fits the bill well. The heart rate monitor is better than the Fitbit HR in my experience. It reports high heart rates whereas the Fitbit HR would lose track. It's handy to be able to set the alarm time without using the smartphone. The battery life is decent if only using the twist wrist to turn on feature and GPS during exercise only. The touch screen works very nicely. It seems like the watch software could do more as there is not a whole lot to it. Workout history is missing for example. Also, like all other smartwatches with a color touch-screen, the watch is too wide for my wrist. It's not real attractive, but certainly not the ugliest of the smart watches. Also the angle of viewing the readout is awkward since I wear it on the outside of my wrist. It seems like it should be rotated.

good product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this is a great product for active people who always go to the gym with its built in HRM and guided exercises that you can follow. i only give it a 4 star because the notifications are always in your band even if you opened it already in your phone. all in all it is a good product that can be improved
