I wanted a fitness band that would be accurate. Microsoft's Band has one of the best reviews in terms of accurate data collection. It does not add steps while driving. It is durable and consistent and works with all model phones. I have a windows phone and can use Cortana. It's a great smart watch without the expensive price. I can quickly look at texts and emails and news alerts. The Band 2 improved on comfort. Highly recommend.

Tried a few bands and found this to be the ideal one with the right set of features. However, I have given this only 3 stars as the battery needs charging in 2-3 days for me.

I purchased this to test how it works with my windows phone. I also purchased Fitbit HR for my wife, when comparing both I would not purchase Band 2 again. Software on both are adequate, battery life and comfort go to Fitbit.

I had the first Band and I liked it a lot. I have always preferred the Windows Phone so the Band was an obvious choice for me. I like the improved fit and comfort and the software updates. The battery life is good. I need to plug it in every 3 days. When I don't have it I miss it.

I like the feature set very well. I WISH it was waterproof. That is the only real issue I have with the BAND 1 and now the BAND 2. With that said the BAND 2 seems to be made to better deal with a little water than the BAND 1. This is the best device for fitness and smart phone capabilities, especially on Windows 10 Mobile, but it works just as well on Android and iOS. I know a lot of folks that love this device and they use iOS and Android phones and not the devices from their phone's ecosystems.

I have been using my band now for about 2 months. I have to say it is great for tracking exercising, biking, and runs. The online dashboard tracks so many things. The only downfall I have with it is it has trouble connecting to the text reply feature. Other than that I love it!

I put off buying a fitness band / smartwatch for a long time, and I'm glad I chose this one. It tracks steps, sleep, and more as well as showing notifications from my phone.

I wear this ALL the time! : PROS: sync with my phone easily, app is easy to use. gps can be used w/o phone. for biking/ running, gym workouts. shares info w/ other apps, like my fitness pal. Software is always updating. Cons: Not water proof. and battery is only about 2 days use. Recommend extended warranty. Used When band broke.

Latching mechanism shorted out and turned the band off when securing, returned for warranty replacement. Heart monitor stopped working sent back for warranty replacement. Band split in two within 3 days of a crack appearing in the band. Band was 3 weeks out of warranty and because of low inventories they cannot offer any replacement or service to fixing the band. Even when I offered to pay for it. Band was 1 year and 3 weeks old and it was rendered useless for a initial cost of $249.00 Too many issues for a device that cost that much. Get a Fit bit they are in the activity tracker business!

Although I really like my LG Urbane watch (which has more options than the Micrsoft Band 2). My wife wanted a "Fitbit type" band, but I talked my wife into trying the MB2. She loves it. For just a bit more money. She gets the ease of text and email viewing, the band fits well without being too bulky in addition to all of the health options. She has since talked two of her friends into getting the MB2. BTW... It does work perfectly with all iPhones... Someone tried to tell her it wouldn't.

I really like my Microsoft Band 2. I wish the battery life was a bit better but I realize that notifications drain it quicker. It is comfortable and light weight.

A bit more accurate than other fitness bands (Fitbit, etc.). We tried several before settling on the Microsoft Band. It interfaces well with our preferred iPhone app (My Fitness Pal) and captures heart rate and step counts accurately. It may not meet everyone's expectations but it does everything we need it to do.

I grabbed a total of three of these. One for my kid, one for my wife and one for myself. It has it's flaws, but it's the best performer out there. Very accurate HR and the new updates for heart rate zone are a ice new addition. I've had many bands in the past. Only a HR strap can beat the performance. The flaw that continues to haunt me is the Bands strap weakness. It tends to crack, thereby causing lockups and battery disconnect Hopefully this will be redesigned. Even with this flaw I'll keep it. I just bring it back to a Microsoft store and get a new one (exchange, no cost)

Microsoft Band 2 is definitely a huge improvement from its previous generation Band. It is easy to use, allowing you to track Heart Rate, Steps, Floors/Elevation, and built in GPS. It fits comfortably on the arm and is easy to wear and take off. CONS; - Metal band tip scratches VERY easily - Software lags - Cannot respond to text messages, unless you are using a Microsoft phone with built in Cortana. - Expensive - Takes a long time to connect to GPS Sattelites

I looked into many different activity trackers before choosing the Microsoft Band. The built in GPS is accurate and I have no problems connecting it to my iPhone 6S. All notifications come to my phone. The heart rate monitor is as accurate as any other device I have used that goes on the wrist. The design ism much better than the original band. The curve fits the wrist comfortably.

Best tracker on the market in my opinion. I love the array of sensors, GPS and heart rate being my favorites. The HR sensor works brilliantly for exercise, and resting HR. You can use it for all kinds of exercise, too, not just running or cycling. I had it guide me through a workout (it tells you what to do, number of reps, and rest time between sets). My muscles felt serious burn!

I like your device it's much better than the first model the only problem is that it's not waterproof but other than that it's a great monitor for your health and fitness. The phone, mail, and message notification is a great convenience feature.
