Had the previous model and this one and must say MS got it right with this model. Its sleeker, doesn't bother so much when you sleep, actually connects with the app, voice commands works muc better and I just found out to my surprise the other day that it has music connectivity. Bonus!

The band is very comfortable, and is extremely easy to use. Syncs with any phone and is the most sophisticated out of any smart watch.

Bought this for the wife after i had mine for about a month. We both love all the functions and it keeps getting better. Originally I had some issues connecting when replying to messages on WM10 but with the last few updates to Microsoft health this has gone away and the wife has had no issues with on WM 8.1. Battery life is really good for what it is I can usually get about 4 days of life before needing a full 2 hr recharge as long as i put it on the charger for 20-30 min in the mornings while getting ready.

Loved everything about the MS Band EXCEPT the battery wouldn't last past early afternoon AND not water resistant AND having to charge so often because of battery issues. Even when I turned off functions that I wanted to use (reasons why I purchased) it ran out of juice by 4pm latest. That's not even a work day end. Other than these issues, loved the looks and performance, so unfortunately back it went.

I had the original Microsoft Band and liked it. The Band 2 has all the features of the Band, with some additions, and is much more comfortable and attractive with a smooth rounded face and lighter weight. They used gorilla glass this time to reduce scratching, but it is still not waterproof. The charging port was rethought and moved away from direct skin contact, protecting it from body sweat and oils.

Although a bit overpriced I was impressed with the options. I also like how it looks, not as cheap looking as the competitors.

The watch is what I expected. I can get about 2 days without having to charge, but that is with minimal use of the excercise functions. The clasp scratched really easy which is the only negative thing I have to say.

Now I know everyone will automatically go to a FitBit or iWatch but honestly this device is awesome! It syncs perfectly with my phone, holds up perfect to the conditions, fits great around my wrist, and gives very accurate fitness readings! You can not answer calls with this device but you can text and still see if you have a call coming in while away from your phone. Great band, great built in software, must have for anyone using Microsoft devices of any kind!

Overall this device is pretty solid. Microsoft health is a nice app and I really like the way you can customize the screen through the app. Fit is comfortable enough for me. So far pretty satisfied with the purchase

After returning two broken bands to Best Buy, I settled on a Fitbit. The first band I owned came apart within two months. Came apart meaning...the wrist band actually began cracking from both sides, exposing the wiring within the band. Okay, return...reissue and try again. The second band failed within a month. The sensors in the band would only work for moments on a full charge. The band went from 100 percent charge to 85 percent in a matter of minutes. If you did not hold your wrist at a completely straight level it was game over. The sensor would read that the battery was dead. However, if you are not worried about this negative post, this band is one of the most comfortable that I have worn for a fitness tracker. The app could definitely use some updating to get up to speed with both Fitbit and Jawbone. Comfortable but very basic. Overall a not good experience.

It has a lot of features I like. Watch is good but strap is not sturdy. Had to call Microsoft for replacement. It's a good thing warranty still covers it. But it broke even in less than a year.

First off this is an amazing concept, but they need to do more research and quality checks. I purchased one for my fiance and myself. We had to take my fiance's back due to a tiny pixel being out on the screen, which is no biggie. Now I have noticed mine wont pick up the UV rays outside at all. And my fiance's new one wont neither, but her first model did. SO, basically they are amazing at everything as long as yours DOES everything it is supposed to. I will take it back since I have the 1 year warranty with Microsoft and BestBuy and hopefully the next one will all work with no issues.
