Love it!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, GET YOURSELF A SCREEN PROTECTOR- the screen scratches very easy! I was using the Fitbit for about a month and liked it however, when I saw all the options that the Band included I took the Fitbit back. The only drawback on the Band is that the battery only lasts about 3 days. The Fitbit lasted 7 days. I love the color screen, UV Index, Weather, email, texts and a host of other awesome options.

great fitness watch!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hi, I have had my Microsoft Band for about a month now. Let me say, the Band is everything I was looking for in a fitness watch and more! I think some people are looking for a second phone on their wrist, not me. It gives me phone, e-mail, and text notifacations and that's great! I'm not looking for more than that, just a fitness tracker with heart rate monitor, sleep monitor and calories burned tracker. Throw in a pedometer and we are all good! Only minor complaint is that after my run, my body heat causes the touch screen not to work very well. After cooling off, it works fine! I have heard complaints about discomfort. I have the large size watch and it's very comfortable. I am 6' and 200 lbs, so get the proper size for you; it's not one size fits all! So, over all, this is quite the awesome fitness tracker/watch with some smart phone linked features!

Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The microsoft band excels at being a smart watch and a health monitor. it is much more comfortable than I expected after reading other reviews and It can be worn two ways. The tracking has been accurate in all categories from the heart rate to the gps! I purchased it with the screen protector because other reviews stated the screen scratches easily and I didn't want to test that. I can wear it for 2 days on a full charge which isn't great compared to other health monitors but it is in line with smart watches. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is on the fence about it, especially with the discounts currently being offered.

Thought I was done with watches
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I thought I would never wear a watch or watch like device since smartphones, but the fitness aspect of these devices is what lured me. I was a user of Windows Phone so I thought it would be natural to get this and it is pretty easy to setup to a windows phone. I for other reasons went to an android phone and it still works well but you will spend a little time tweaking which notifications you want to come through but I found my happy place with it. Only forgot to put it on once and felt naked without it. I run on a treadmill so I can't say as to how accurate the GPS is, the run tracking with the treadmill is a little off but consistent so it can be accounted for. If you can try them on do so because I did make the mistake of buying the medium. I am 6 foot and medium build and it was just too tight if it were just a few millimeters larger it would have been fine. So I would say all but the smallest framed men will need a Large. So again if in doubt see if you can try it on first.

keeps track of everything
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Microsoft band because my Fitbit charge broke on me after using it for 6 month. I wanted a fitness tracker that would be able to track my heart rate. I read a couple of reviews and the were all positive about the heart rate monitor. the band has been everything the touted the only downside is that after 2 or 3 plug in to sync on the computer it will no longer sync via the computer. it will sync via Bluetooth and transfer to your dashboard but you cant do it directly., they said they are aware of the problem but give no detail on if there is going to be a fix for the problem. also since the connector are expose to your skin make sure clean it before trying to charge it. if there is any dirt it will not charge, probably would have given it a 5 stars.

A very nice smartband/fitness tracker
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used to have a FitBit Flex, but after about a month, the band came loose and I lost it. Since then, I have been looking into replacements. When I saw the Microsoft Band, I figured Why Not? and bought it. There is a slight learning curve to using it, but once you get past that, it is a great product. The first day I had this, it tracked everything from my heart rate to my sleep cycles. Basically the learning curve is just getting used to starting the sleep tracker, configuring the tiles and learning which buttons to press for which features. It only takes a few minutes, but it is something that must be done. Also, this Band is compatible with iPhone, Android and Windows Phone (not sure about Blackberry and Palm though). And by using the Microsoft Health app, the features of this Band become exponentially more useful, but it is not necessary - you can leave your phone behind if you want and the band will still track your movements and such.

Lots of features for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to track my steps and runs. Glad for the other things it does...like monitor my sleep patterns, vibrate when I have a call or text come in. It's a bit clunky to wear but I'm getting used to it. Has good battery life.

More functional than fitbit but less confortable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had both devices. the MS band offer much more functions than fitbit. The integration with phone is great and it is water resistant. I was surprised to love the starbucks payment application. The training/coaching video capabilities are really nice. I am using the internet videos when I start a new fit program and only the band after I learn. However the device is bigger, not so comfortable as fitbit and you must be careful about the screen (Scratch protection would be a must). In the end of the day, a much better device if you use all the functions.

Awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great tracker. The battery life is about two days. It gets frustrating because sometimes it looses connection and you have to mess with it for it to connect again. But I like it

Best in Class
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Microsoft band is my second fitness band. My reasons for switching to the band are related to data, syncing and compatibility. The Band is the wish for increased fitness data, heart rate, workout tracking and sleep tracking. All fitness trackers do distance or steps but a good workout is very dependent on heart rate and most trackers do not have that capability or lack the other info items. The Band has the ability to track everything I needed. The Band took things much farther, it alerted me of incoming calls, appointments, texts, alerts, alarms, reminders to take a break from work, and more even Cortana. And a bigger bonus from me its water resistant so I will not kill it if I take a shower by accident or get caught in the rain. It has been a real time saver, reminding me of events, appointments and tracking my health. The Apps available are great and continue to grow in number. It is a bit bigger that some health bands but is not the largest. It also can function as a watch. And just for the record I do not work for Microsoft but I am a cheer leader when it comes to the band. Its a great product.

Works well and easy to learn
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had my Band for over 6 weeks and really enjoy it. I have found that I can charge it for an hour each day and it will have enough power to wear it each night, in order to track my sleeping. I have a great pedometer already and the band is usually pretty close in the steps. I enjoy being able to change the background color, rearrange the tiles, and know when a text has come in. But I really use the heartrate aspect of it when working out.

Great Item but bulky
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.LOVE my band. Highly reccomend it, especially if you have a Windows phone, as it works very well with Cortana. I get about 36 hours life per charge. Only complaints involve the fact that it can only be worn with the face down on the wrist (took some getting used to) and the fact it's not water proof (would love to take it swimming). I have though accidentally worn it in the shower with no issues though suspect that would hurt it long term.

Good Band
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best smart band I have used, in some point even better that Apple Watch. And of course Microsoft Band are lot more cheaper than Apple Watch. So why not just buy a cheaper and more comfortable band in less money.

Underrated
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It isn't the prettiest, and it isn't for everyone, but this thing fits me like a glove. It works great, I think it looks good. Performs best with a Windows Phone, but is compatible with all platforms.

It's great for fitness tracking but thats it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a Microsoft fan however, the Band v.1 is not as great as expected. For fitness, aspect the Band does good for tracking your heart rate, calories burned, and miles ran in addition to logging GPS data points. The Cortana feature is not as accurate by comparison of just pulling out your phone (which has to be in proximity to use this feature). Two annoyances: For software, the alerts accumulate for emails, text, colanders and call logs despite the fact you actually answer your calls or respond to alerts on your device. For hardware, the battery life short, it's not scratch resistant, neither is waterproof. To me it seemed like Microsoft abandoned this Band as there are many deal to purchase a Fitbit bundled with their products than this device.

Really a Sleeper Device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gives a ton of useful data for the active or non-active person. They keep updating the product like the recent automatic sleep tracker. For the price it is very powerful , independent GPS, voice commands (windows phone), hr rate monitor. I found a bit more accurate on steps than my fitbit (own flex and hr). Bad now you need a screen protector.
