Cortana is the best feature, can respond to txts on your wrist with her, and it has on board keyboard that is small but useful. Weather, news , and other notifications can be sent. You choose what goes on the watch using the health app. Heart rate monitor, sleep monitor are awesome. The watch keeps good track of everything. Good interface.

Screen is colorful and crisp! It took a couple of days to get used to it on my wrist, but hardly notice it now (3 days in). The health app could stand to be a little more exciting, but it's simple and straight forward. There are also several 3rd party apps to let you customize it and get the information from ALL of the sensors! Pretty sweet.

I love the band for all the sensors and the look and feel - very comfortable with the adjustable band! Unfortunately the software needs more features like the Fitbit has, it's as MS is too busy working on the next gen band rather than making the software awesome

I did return this item for two reasons. First, it is bulky in an odd way, the sides of the band are thick. That is where MS put the batteries. Second, the display is at a weird angle. I had to twist my arm to look at it. Otherwise it is a great product. Features are great. analytics are more than enough for my needs.

The smart band works and holds up better than I expected. Pros for the smart band: It does keep track of your heart rate, it is easy to link with your smartphone and laptop, it keeps time accurately and the batter life is good for two days of constant wear. The cons: The display screen needs to have a little curve with the wrist instead of being straight and flat, I've used the sleep cycle once and received no feedback, the calories goal I am still trying to figure out b/c it seems to start at 1300 for the day and I'm unsure if the heart rate monitor is precise. I know that it is somewhere in the ballpark but I do not know what the error margin is. Overall I think it is a good product. I do wish they would find some way to incorporate downloading at least 12 songs for workouts like the Samsung S gear. But either way it is still a good product.

Comfortable to wear. Bright, clear display. Absolutely love getting emails/texts/call alerts when my phone is silent (great for theater, or meetings). Only con is that it's a too prone to being scuffed up. Getting a screen protector is a MUST!

The Microsoft band combines smart watch capabilities with activity tracking. Having a heart rate monitor on it allows for better calories burned monitoring. The only downfalls of it are the battery life and it only being splash resistant.

Everything about the Microsoft Band is awesome, except the battery does not last past two days. That is very disappointing, but the things it can do and track are far above ALL the competition.

This is an awesome fitness tracker, with tracking of walk run bike workouts and you can send workouts to your band too. I loved using it and am excited about getting the 2 now that it's out. Con: looks like an FBI tracking anklet on your arm :(

I have been really impressed so far with the band. It has helped me to keep up with my fitness goals and also texts and news. The battery life and keyboard have been better than expected. This is not a smart watch but more of a hybrid between a fitness band and a smartwatch that fills a nice niche. I was looking for something that did more than my fit it but do not really have a need to run apps on my watch, this was perfect.

This is a great fitness band. My only complaint is that it can be a bit uncomfortable at times. The rigidity of the band itself leads to it just sitting on my wrist somewhat uncomfortably sometimes. Other than that it really is a nice device.

Good product in this price range, the closest match Fitbit Charge HR is more than USD100. Product arrived on time and was well packed. Only catch if you plan to use in any other country see if Microsoft App is available in that country.

Couldn't decide on a smart watch that had fitness tracking and heart rate. Talked with staff and they recommend this and pebble. Decided on band and never looked back. Fitness tracking is simple to use and is almost identical to treadmill in numbers. The email and caller ID is sooo helpful... Highly recommend!!!

Does what it says it will. Love notifications and Cortana integration with Windows Phone. Getting more apps all the time. Could be thinner and a curved screen would be nice, but I like the understated look.

Does everthing it claims to do. Watching the steps and calories add up are great for helping you reach your next goal. The way it momitors your personal bests and gives you a trophy is nice as well. Connecting to my Android phone was quck and simple. Lastly the sleep analysis is both informative and gives insight into your sleep patterns. Only bad thing ia the glass stratches.

Purchased one after both my daughter and wife had the band for a month . Great way to track your sleep and heart rate. I been walking more since I started using the band. The time display is a plus, it's all in one.

So far I've been happy with the Microsoft Band. I did have to replace the first one within two weeks though...It stopped charging. The in-store replacement has been working fine. Band fits pretty comfortably on my arm, no irritation and easy to adjust. A screen protector is really a must, because the screen seems to scuff easily, even though it's normally worn on the inside of my wrist. When coupled with Cortana and Windows Phone, it really is very useful. Able to use voice to respond to text, check weather, and schedule. Wish it had more colors to choose from to display, and still don't know how the UV option works. But overall I'm happy with it.

I bought this item because it had just what I was looking for. Call and message notification, activity tracker, and a heart rate monitor all wrapped up with a lower price tag than those without the heart monitor. If you are used to wearing a FitBit, then the awkwardness of having something on your wrist that is rigid on one side is something you are used to. I believe they fixed that in the new version. It is still kind of awkward to tilt your head while reading the display, but you get used to that as well. It has a few quirks if you switch devices you use it with every once in a while. It definitely met my expectations.
