Sometimes, I have to unplug and replug it in to start working, but I bet that's more of a software than a hardware issue.

Fragile headset.

I've had about 6 or 7 in the two years I have owned Xbox One. They break very easily so if you purchase it is worth getting the warranty (as you will definitely need it).
